The Wall 1 year, 9 months agoWe are excited introduce the new reeves with a brand-new positioning and look & feel. Created for the low skill level recreational consumer, the reeves products offer good quality for a good price.
Launching with 51 SKUs that are easy to use and easy to enjoy, the reeves brand is full of personality, colour and emotion. The new reeves enters the market at an opportune time when the recreational consumer base is not only growing but also looking to try something new.
Here is the link to the website of the new reeves:
Thank you to every person who got involved across multiple departments and multiple countries to make reeves available for sale in the UK in July 2024 – your hard work is truly appreciated!
PS: The draw for winning the Paint by Numbers will take place Tuesday 9th July, so if any one seeing the Townhall recording wishes to enter the draw, they can put the birthdate of reeves on the wall to be included in the draw.

The Wall 1 year, 9 months agoLiquitex Bio Based has now launched in the UK!
Yesterday marked the start of the exclusive launch of Liquitex Bio Based Heavy Acrylic in Cass UK.
Liquitex Bio EU Inline units were installed in 11 of their stores, including their 2 Flagship stores, Islington and Glasgow, which have the 2-bay unit displaying full range. Where space was restricted, Bio based was displayed on Cass’s own merchandising equipment.
This also marks that start of a fully packed schedule of activation over the next 2 months, including a Liquitex Bio Mural which will be painted at Cass Islington, Online Giveaway, Social content, in-store workshops and much more!
With months of planning, preparation and many internal meetings, plus the Bio Based immersion session held in April for the Cass H/O team and the online training session held last week Friday for Cass Store staff, it has truly been a HUGE TEAM EFFORT from all involved.
A few team members I would like to thank – Francheska Liberman, Corina Sartore, Martyn Symes, Eden Cook-Watson, Ruben Nunkoo, Caroline Williams, Cindy Levacher, Glenn Burbidge, Frances Holden, Liza Kindon, Joanna Makowska, Liz Ford, Lianne Wells & Michelle Green- your help, input and support in the past several months has been pivotal in making this launch happen. Thank you 😊

The Wall 1 year, 9 months agoWhat a great event last Monday, June 24th in Le Mans !
We had the chance to welcome 70 people from DALBE stores, one of the main Fine Arts Chains in France. They were organizing their annual Meeting near the factory in the morning, and we took this opportunity to host them during the afternoon.
After a presentation hold by Romain, Dominique and Nicolas, we organized 5 factory tours and workshops around our powerful brands showcasing their new positionings.
A big thank you to all our colleagues who managed the Tour, from Laboratory, Manufacturing to Logistics and to all Marketing and Commercial teams members for their big input in this Collective success. We’ve managed to provide professional & detailed information in a very short period of time: congrats !
Our Dalbe partners left delighted with what they had seen, impressed with the site’s evolution, pleased with the sincerity of the discussions, and determined to support us in the new business opportunities prepared on this occasion.

The Wall 1 year, 9 months agoAhead of the exciting Liquitex Bio-based launch at Cass Art next week, we held an online training session for nationwide Cass Art store teams. Store managers and store team members from all around the UK (including London, Manchester, Brighton, Liverpool, Glasgow & more) were in attendance during the session, which was very well received and highly engaged with.
During the session we received and answered some excellent and thought-provoking questions centred around sustainability. One thing that is very clear: the in-store teams are excited to get Bio-based in front of the consumers and start talking about this fantastic sustainable innovation from Liquitex.
Stay tuned for some exciting Liquitex Bio-based activations at Cass Art coming soon… including an artist mural created with Bio-based paint, a Bio-based product giveaway on social media, in-store workshops & more!

I would happily have listened to Juan again talking all things Liquitex Bio-based. This comes off the back of a very successful immersion session with the Cass HO staff earlier in the year, which I was fortunate enough to attend. Brilliant work Francheska – including your newfound technical skills for ‘influencer’ videography courtesy of Steph.…

The Wall 1 year, 9 months agoWe recently held some face-painting events in a number of The Entertainer stores around the UK, celebrating the Euros and the start of the summer of sport!
The events were really well received and all the children involved had a great time choosing which sport motifs and flags they wanted to have painted so they could show support to their teams.
As one of the biggest toy retailers in the UK, The Entertainer is the perfect place to showcase our Snazaroo range so we were really pleased with the feedback from the teams there and are looking forward to partnering with them on more events in the future!

Anthony Taylor replied 1 year, 9 months ago
Hi Carys, this is great to be activating Snazaroo in retail stores of The Entertainer. Sporting occasions are certainly an area where previously we have seen increasing consumer demand and sales spikes for our Snazaroo products and something as a business I would encourage to revisit and focus on, not only for children under 10 but to have a wider appeal to all ages that are engaged in sport.…

It’s always exciting to hear about these sorts of activations Carys, especially as it’s an account we haven’t done too much with recently, from a marketing perspective at least. Really well done to you and Corina for being our own dream team in making this happen!…

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
