The Wall 1 year, 10 months agoWhen patrimonial brand Lefranc Bourgeois meets Urban Art !
Since always Lefranc Bourgeois has accompanied most inventive artists and innovative movements like impressionism at that time…
Today Lefranc Bourgeois continues to be aside of new artists such as Ërell, famous french urban artist.
Have a look on this great collaboration with FLASHE and its beautiful & ultra-mat colours, going on all type of supports. And as Olympics are coming, the choice of the artist was the 5 iconic colours to celebrate this great event !

The Wall 1 year, 10 months agoI\’ve been reading \’The Green Start-Up\’ on my train commute and was interested to see the author feature Huckletree as an example of a leader in sustainability. Huckletree (for anyone who isn\’t based in London) run shared working spaces around the UK, and our London Hub is located in their \’Huckletree White City\’ space. The book is great for people new to the concept of sustainability in business and worth a read. Even if you\’re already sufficiently informed, books like these tend to trigger ideas both new and repurposed.

The Wall 1 year, 10 months ago🎨 W&N Watercolour workshop at the Hobbycraft HQ 🎨
Last week we held 2 workshops at the Hobbycraft main HQ, attended by a variety of Hobbycraft head office team members.
The workshops were centred around W&N Watercolour and were led by Artist, Andrew Carter who took attendees through Watercolour pattern creation and colour layering techniques, whilst highlighting key USPs of the Cotman Watercolour range.
The workshops were tailored to allow those with both beginners and intermediate skillsets to follow along easily.
During the session we positioned a TTEOTA graphic on the activity table, for a prominent presence of the W&N brand and new brand positioning. With this, the sessions allowed us to educate and engage the team about a key W&N category whilst bringing to live the new brand positioning in an interactive way. Some great feedback received from the Hobbycraft team:
“I wanted to reach out and say thank you so much for the workshop, I really enjoyed it and learned a lot! I have heard nothing but positive feedback about how wonderful the workshops were and how much our colleagues enjoyed them.”
“We really enjoyed the workshop and Andrew was a brilliant teacher, even for our complete beginners! We would love to host another workshop in the future as Andrew’s workshop definitely inspired us to take up watercolour colour painting as a hobby.”

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
