The Wall 1 year, 10 months agoThe Snazaroo team like nothing more than a nice cuppa and a slice of cake, so International Tea Day on Tuesday seemed like the perfect opportunity to indulge ourselves.
Once again the well being team set a fine variety of teas along with home made & shop bought cakes supplied by their colleagues for all to enjoy.

straight from Croatia
- Winsor&Newton Cotman HP and 8 ml
- Conte a Paris – almost full range
which do you like better?
what year can these displays be from?
-
they must be from the 1980’s at least… what did you replace them with?…
-
Jakub Kopek replied 1 year, 10 months ago
Hi Jasper, not yet replaced.
Conte is quite full, and works fine – my only concern would be changing graphics somehow, plus the store owner loves it.
Winsor-Newton is different story – we will most likely rebuild ‘the whole store’ soon – so stay tuned.… -

The Wall 1 year, 10 months agoThe regulatory team had an excellent day at the CHEM UK Exhibition in Birmingham last week. CHEM UK is a trade show that brings together authorities, UK manufacturers, chemical industry trade association experts, and innovators. The interconnectedness of innovation, sustainability, and regulation was a key theme, emphasizing the complexity, challenges, divergence, opportunities, and solutions within the chemical industry. It was also great to connect in person and engage in further discussions with our suppliers and other manufacturers at their individual stalls. Overall, it was an informative and valuable team-building day!

The Wall 1 year, 11 months agoWe have some exciting news to share from North America! We have officially launched our new locally sourced PWC sets on Winsor&Newton.com!
A project that started in October of 2023, we were able to bring 4 new sets to market in only 5 months. We locally sourced packaging and all assembly was done in house in DC4. They made their debut at NAMTA in March and have since been growing in popularity in our fine art market.
Special thanks to all the many teams involved to help these sets come to life!
John Mendryk and Allison Corrigan for securing our inventory and getting everything ordered and in DC4 on time, Elba Garnica and her team in the warehouse for assembling these sets quickly and efficiently in 2 days, Anne Zayatz for her beautiful hand-painted washes that were used for our packaging artwork, Maria Gottfried who photographed all packaging artwork as well as all assets for campaigns and web, our local customer service team to get these SKUs ready for sale, and Kyle Daniele who helped get all assets on the Bank.
We also had help from our global partners – Marine Hammer and the Item Creation team, Fatima Kadic who worked on all packaging, Racheal Reynolds for getting these live on Winsor&Newton.com, and many more! This was truly a collective effort from all involved and helped to show our ability to work with agility and dedication to the brand.
We look forward to bringing more locally curated sets to the market this year!

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
