Who said Fine oil is only used by old artists ?!

Students of the best french Fine Art school “Les Beaux Arts de Paris” have been participating with great passion during on full day to a workshop with Lefranc Bourgeois:

1/ To understand Oil and Medium thanks to Pierre SANCHEZ from R&D,

2/ To test with  Laurent BLANDIN the new Lefranc Bourgeois fine oil range and its spectacular primary colours, 100% made in France.

They all showed great interest in Lefranc Bourgeois expertise and were impressed by the level of quality, so were their four experimented teachers !

They recognized the superior quality and the lack of knowledge regarding oil & medium in the artists schools. We will make sure to reinforce our link with theses prescriptors, and train them regularly so they become regular users of Lefranc Bourgeois fine oils & medium !

    Thanks to Pierre & Laurent!

Earlier this month I had the great honor and pleasure of joining @andyglinos and @damientergella in Bangkok to represent Liquitex and train over 50 retailers and sales managers on behalf of distributor DHA Siamwalla.  As a result we now have a commitment to get Liquitex into 70 new stores!  The retailers and sales managers were an enthusiastic group and Andy and Damien were moving about the room the whole time to help reinforce the product information that I was sharing.  Please take a look at the 1 minute recap video below to get a sense of the mood and good time that was had by all.

Day 1 of Creativation by NAMTA. A fantastic job by the team and some great customer meetings.

    • Great Pictures! Looks exciting!. Good job to Chevelle for getting the PAW Patrol FSDU produced for NAMTA . The WN Mecanno merchandising system looks really good as well. Really need to look at those Brand headers! one for me and the US team for later in the year.

    • Great work team!

    • Go Namta team ! Good sales!

    • Well-done! The stand looks impactful.

    • Great job Steve, Sarah and all the NA teams !!!! So happy to be in New Orleans with you during those 3 days and see how we manage to outperform the competition in terms of branding, narrative and high quality relationship with the customers. Our key NPD initiatives were wonderfully displayed, and it is good to feel that there is further potential the level for our “smaller” brands, beyond the well established strength of Liquitex and W&N. Sky is the limit for Colart in the US, and we have the right team to make it happen ! Let’s keep the rhythm

    • love the revival colours display – looks great!

    • Really well done to the whole team for presenting our brands in such an inspiring way ! You really have a very strong team out there and close customer relationships. well done!.

A little blast from the past I found on the Instagram feed @historicnyc , Pearl Paint on Canal Street, Manhattan, circa 1970’s.

    • and Jimmy … aside from absolutely loving the image can you please tell everyone the relevance of Pearl Paint?

    • It was an old independent New York City store with a cantankerous owner and aisles chock full of supplies, so much so that you might have called it a fire hazard, but it was beloved by the lower Manhattan art scene. I believe it went out of business around 2012 if I remember correctly but I may be off on that date.

    • It was THE place for all the artists in lower Manhattan (SoHo etc) to shop. Iconic and still missed to this day. Some of you may have met Allan at Jerry’s Artarama in West Orange, NJ – he used to be the manager there and has many stories…

    • I saw Allan yesterday Jimmy, and he was telling me about when he took over the space of Canal Jean Co and expanded Pearl….

    • 🧡

    • my goodness that is a blast from the past
