We are profoundly grateful to our esteemed visitors in Shanghai for their guidance and profound insights on sustainability, which is instrumental in shaping our future business.

    • Thanks to Jim, Shirley, Melody, Linda, Ronnie and all our teams in Shanghai for welcoming me with Jenny Linden and Fabio Pedrazzi in Shanghai last week. Great business review and retail tour highlighting the good position of Winsor & Newton (off and online), the growing potential for Liquitex, and the way a stronger collaboration with our factory in Tianjin enables us to reconnect with the market and increase the power of our brands in China. Competition is fierce, but there are significant mid term opportunities for Colart !

    • Wonderful photo and thank you for sharing Shirley. Well done to the Shanghai team for making it a valuable and successful experience!

    • Thank you for your invaluable guidance and encouragement. Let’s collaborate together, pooling our efforts to ensure a successful delivery.

W&N Watercolour mural at Cass Art Islington – Through the Eyes of the Artist – Stephanie Nebbia

Iโ€™m pleased and proud to share with you the wonderful mural artwork created by Stephanie Nebbia at the Cass Art Islington flagship store, using W&N Professional Watercolours (the 6 hero colours from the W&N Watercolour 2024 campaign).

Watercolour, a medium not normally associated with murals, has enormous potential with its transparency and texture, offering insights into the individual characteristics of the pigments. This piece is a tribute to colour and texture inspired by the extraordinary histories of each colour. It also aims to showcase each colour individually as well as the beautiful textures, tints and tones that form when colours are mixed together.

Aside from being a stunning artwork, the purpose of this mural and activation is to bring to life the Through the Eyes of the Artist positioning, with accompanying Manifesto & logo graphics positioned in front and near the mural, as well as a W&N video playing on the main video screen behind the tills in-store.

If you find yourself nearby Cass Art Islington in the next 6 weeks, do pay a visit and check out the mural, which is located right near the entrance of the store. And stay tuned for more details on the mural, via a Colart news article coming soon.

    • That’s an incredibly detailed job! It is very impressive Steph and very beautiful!! Also, a very creative idea to implement both the Brand Equity Campaign and Watercolour Campaign in one activation. Well done to both of you!

    • Love it Steph, straight lines and a stepladder used – wow, so much respect to you for this amazing piece, showing the colours and product off to their best.

    • Absolutely AMAZING!

What a superb way to showcase our wonderful watercolours and new brand manifesto. Amazing to think this is watercolour, and only 6 colours at that.

Huge shout out to Francheska for this. 2 amazing activations, this and the factory tour article, it testament to your hard work and dedication. And a massive THANK YOU to Steph for her time and wonderful skill in creating this. I can’t believe they will wash it off one day!!!!

    • Beautiful and inspiring, and the vibrancy of the colours really stand out. You wouldnโ€™t expect such a wide palette coming from 6 hero colours.
Fantastic piece of work Steph, and one that I know took some considerable planning and preparation behind the scenes. It was lovely to visit in person and see you in action and to hear the fantastic feedback from Store Staff, H/O staff and Mark Cass.

Well done also to Francheska for driving this initiative and creating an opportunity to highlight key colours from the 2024 WC Campaign, and showcase our new Brand manifesto TTEOTA.
Great teamwork and a true show of collaboration in implementing this activation, further strengthening our relationship with Cass, a Key FA account for the UK.
I would strongly recommend a visit to the store to view in person and keep a look out for Cass social content due soon.

    • I love this, it looks so impressive in the pictures, I imagine it’s incredible to see it in person.

Are Cass OK with us removing their wall so it be be brought down to Kiddy?

    • Shane, funnily enough, I have brought this up in conversation :D… without success unfortunately, but we do have some lovely high res images ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Beautiful Steph! Ruben and I doing some London store visits soon, we will definitely stop in to view this mural ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Wow wow! Stunning wall Steph! Bravissima!

    • Massive well done guys the finished piece looks incredible, such a great job embedding the new positioning and setting a high standard for Cass murals to follow. The vibrancy of the hero colours really come across in the photos, can’t wait to see it in person and really see the granulation!

    • stunning work Steph and great way to demonstrate the quality of our colours

    • Thank you for such lovely responses. Huge shout to Franceska’s incredible planning and organisation, as always a dream to work with. What is important to note everyone, is that I used an average of two large tubes of our watercolour for each of the 6 colours, such is the quality and pigment load of our paint.

    • gorgeous love it @stephaniencolart-com

    • Your mural is a thing of beauty Steph. I am lost for words, it’s mesmerising. You’ve set the bar and then some with this! Huge well done as I know it was challenging on many levels to get to this point, but the results are outstanding. Thanks to the wider team including the ever-amazing Francheska, Martyn and Emma for their support. I’m with Shane, can’t Cass just build another wall so we can take this one to Kiddie?!

    • Fantatsic work Steph! I can’t wait to see it in real life tomorrow!

    • Incredible work Steph! WOW this looks so amazing. Echoing what Shane said… or the London Hub?😆

    • This looks fantastic Steph.
