The Wall 5 months, 3 weeks agoWhile I was returning from Le Mans via Paris; I received an invitation from Marie Vincent to participate in the LB Linel Gouache workshop which was happening that evening at the Paris boutique. It was a very nice experience to be part of and try to understand a workshop in French, to be guided by the artist Nolwenn.studio and to try the paints. It has been a valuable learning also from the perspective of enhancing the workshops we organize in our markets in International. Marie also guided me to see the Niki de Saint Phalle exhibition at Grand Palais and to visit Fluctuart. The below art by Jonone with the world map and his art experiences at various locations in the world has inspired me for our International markets. It was also very nice to see the LB & Osez Peindre logos as well as our Flashe products at this art exhibition. Thank you Marie for your kind invitation, for thinking of us International Marketing and for the great job you are doing on the French Brands comms.

The conversation explores the Liquitex sustainability journey – progress, challenges, and our long-term ambition. This content will roll out globally in Q1 2026 to deepen engagement around our sustainability commitments. Huge thanks to Kate for leading the project and to everyone on and off camera who brought it to life. Great work – excited to see the final assets!

The Wall 5 months, 3 weeks agoLiquitex teamed up with surf and lifestyle brand Jetty (also a BCorp) and local artist Ronnie Jackson for a live mural activation at Jetty’s flagship store on the New Jersey shore this weekend.
Ronnie painted frames on the storefront windows using Liquitex paints to showcase some of his dynamic, ocean-themed paintings. He transformed the space into a living canvas that celebrates bold color, creative expression, and sustainability; values shared by both brands.

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
