The Wall 5 months, 3 weeks agoLiquitex teamed up with surf and lifestyle brand Jetty (also a BCorp) and local artist Ronnie Jackson for a live mural activation at Jetty’s flagship store on the New Jersey shore this weekend.
Ronnie painted frames on the storefront windows using Liquitex paints to showcase some of his dynamic, ocean-themed paintings. He transformed the space into a living canvas that celebrates bold color, creative expression, and sustainability; values shared by both brands.

The Wall 5 months, 3 weeks agoI had the pleasure of spending a day in the field with Antoine Bertinotti, together with Clarisse, our new intern! It was a very interesting day that helped us better understand the needs and expectations of our retailers. We visited a store that hadnβt had a Fine Arts section for over a year and set up the Lefranc Bourgeois and ContΓ© Γ Paris product displays. A practical and inspiring experience!

AMAZING! Huge kudos to everyone involved in bringing this activation to lifeβ¦and a big shout-out to the Plaza team (please pass this along). This activation and video truly embody the Liquitex brand positioning and set the bar for what we want to see across retail. From the use of brand assets to the music track to the βtalentβ featured – every detail hits the mark. Canβt wait to see the results against targets, but WOW, what an engaging showcase of the brand in action!…

The Wall 6 months agoLast week, Anne and I wrapped up the LB Flashe & Flashe Bio Based POS Assets project to be used in the NA market. We now have in DC4 stock; endcap headers, posters, tent card, comms panels, shelf strips and a Flashe surface chart available for use by our accounts in their retail stores. One of our main highlights is the creation of the Flashe Surface Chart featuring Flashe hand painted on various surfaces such as , canvas, wood, metal, ceramic, plexiglass, mirror surface and watercolour paper. We really feel that the multi surface adhesion is a very important feature/benefit of the range that puts us ahead of the competition. Thank you to everyone that helped us out in the process to get this chart and all the other assets designed, printed and instock.
Here are a few pics of the process to create 60 surface charts in our office.

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
