Francheska, a really great article โ thank you for pulling this together. It really showcases the work that has been done.
Really great work here team, activating our brands with partner retailers at such a key period in the year. A lot of detailed planned and effort across the team has gone into the development, execution and evaluation of these events and I am super proud of you all. Best, Anthony

Thank you for sharing this Francheska.
There is always a lot going on, with lots of great activation happening globally all the time. However it is important to take time and appreciate the effort, achievement and partnerships that go into these events.
They are fantastically well organised. Complex to execute, especially when multiple venues are happening around the same time. These activations go a long long way in cementing our relationships with our retailers, helping build our brands with them. And importantly, they help our affiliation with our consumers… real engagement and brand association with a end user. Often this can not be quantified immediately in a currency we understand (ยฃยฃยฃ), but long term brand relationships are key to our long term health.
Great work team! Thank you.… -

The Wall 2 years, 6 months agoIt’s scam alert time again.
Some of our staff have received emails asking them to setup their Microsoft Authenticator application. This is not genuine and is in fact trying to hijack control of your Authenticator so that they can get into your accounts.ย
The give awayย as usual is that the reply address on the email is not an official colart one but in this case jonathan.spight@tallyacademy.co which is completely unrelated to the business.
As always, stay vigilient, question everything and if in doubt reach out to someone in the IT team for support.

Totally agree – always check sender address first. …

Thanks Toby, it is always good to be reminded as complacency can set in very easy and these scams are getting more and more professional looking and coming much more frequently. …

The Wall 2 years, 6 months agoOn Friday afternoon the Customer Service team from the German office in Maintal set out for our annual community day.
Organised by Grit from the volunteer agency in Maintal, we walked around a pond in the area close to our office to collect rubbish people threw away.
It was frightening how many empty beer bottles and other rubbish we found in the bushes and shrubs. Not to speak of 4 car tyres, petrol canister, air mattress, fishing rod etc.
It was a good event (on perhaps the last warm day of this year) and we can imagine repeating it next year.

Shane Williams replied 2 years, 6 months ago
Well done all. It is such a shame that people can’t take care of their own rubbish, it would be much simpler to maintain these lovely countryside areas if they did. At least there are good people like yourselves to try to keep these areas looking nice and keeping them safe for the local wildlife.…

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
