The Wall 2 years, 7 months agoAs part of our bicycle labeling project which encourages staff to use soft mobility, several actions will be proposed in the coming weeks at Le Mans.
Among them, a bike ride after the work day until nightfall was organized on Tuesday. This 10 km guided bike ride allowed the fifteen people from Colart to discover the works of street-art in Le Mans, with magnificent frescoes all along the route.
The staff greatly appreciated this activity in a very nice atmosphere. The evening ended with a friendly moment where everyone was able to leave with a cyclist’s guide.

what a great topic Jimmy – we need a recording of this for our induction videos!…

important topic, as many consumers won’t see the difference between one offer and the other. Information is key in this case. …

Great idea. Simple and fundamental – this kind of communication builds consumer trust as well as clarity and giving reasons to buy. I see Opus are also running a Winsor & Newton Promarker week on pens and paper too next week – good stuff Jimmy!…

The Wall 2 years, 8 months agoI’m thrilled to announce I’ve just published the new Liquitex Amazon UK brand store makeover, which is now live! Feel free to explore the store here. The new look has been designed to express the creativity of the brand, and improve the shopping experience focusing on the below points:
Increasing interactivity: Shoppable images – range images embedded with multiple purchase links for the products pictured – have been added to promote exploration.
Capturing attention: Background videos play automatically and silently loop on loading a page, immediately capturing attention, and communicating product features, USPs etc.
Reinforcing brand identity: In line with many large brands, text has been embedded into images using the brand fonts rather than the Amazon default. This is a great way to reinforce the brand identity in the saturated Amazon marketplace.
Optimising mobile experience: With more consumers shopping primarily on mobile, the brand store has been optimised for mobile devices, without sacrificing interactivity.
Demystifying products: With selling large, varied ranges such as mediums (one of the top-selling brand store categories), educating and inspiring customers to try a new product is important. To demystify the mediums, video thumbnails illustrating their textures have been added, to prompt more clicks on the incredible videos of their applications.

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
