✨ A look back at the IF illustration festival organised by Kiblind ✨

A unique event that highlights the freedom, joy and audacity of today’s artists.

Together with Lefranc Bourgeois and Conté in Paris, we are proud to have supported the festival through workshops and meetings.

At the ‘Le kiosque à couleurs’ stand, the public was invited to try their hand at painting or drawing the first lines of a sketch.

Thank you to Kiblind, the teams and the public for making this event such a rich and lively experience!

Yesterday, Snazaroo held their annual Macmillan Coffee morning.  Its a cause close to many of us and the team always get involved with enthusiasm.  I’m still am amazed at the range of treats that were brought in to share.  A huge thank you to all at Snazaroo for supporting the event.

Still some cake to go, but so far over £135 has been raised which could fund 4 community support sessions for people affected by cancer.   Well done team!

On September 24th, the Global Ecommerce team had the opportunity to attend the Ecommerce Expo at ExceL London. It was a fantastic day of learning, networking, and inspiration—bringing together leaders and innovators across the industry.

From exploring the latest trends in ecommerce and customer experience to diving into the future of AI, data, and omnichannel strategies, the event sparked great conversations and ideas we’re excited to bring back into our work at Colart.

Most importantly, it was a valuable chance for our team to come together, learn as a group, and share perspectives on how we can continue to grow and strengthen our ecommerce journey globally.

We left the Expo energized and full of new ideas—and look forward to putting this knowledge into practice as we drive our next phase of growth.

Great to receive Cass store staff at the hub today. We run a regular online training programme with Cass staff across the UK, where I train on the usp of our materials and the relevance of our historical brands today. Cass employ artists and graduates to work in their stores recognising the knowledge and experience they have in selling materials from their own practice. It is therefore a welcome opportunity to show them, in depth, the art and science behind all of our brands. Having already seeded flashe as a very unique material in previous presentations on colour, I was delighted they requested todays session focus on this. In two rotating groups we looked at the history of colour and colourmaking and modern methodologies. Big thanks to Mark Cann and Franceska LIberman for all their help.

    • Thank you as always Steph. These days are invaluable, truly onboarding our customers teams, the key people who are in direct contact with the end user. This is one of the reasons why we have such a strong commercial relationship, but also why we have so many brand ambassadors out there.

    • Looks like a wonderful session as always Steph. I was in the office yesterday and could see how engaged all of the staff were, they were asking lots of questions and keen to get hands on. Fantastic to hear that LB Flashe was at their request, especially as it is not sold in store at the moment.

    • Flashe is a future star / masterpiece….so super excited that we have the energy, drive and focus on this great product. Building advocacy through staff training of the Cass retail staff is a super great initiative. Well done all. Best, Anthony

    • These sessions are great, and I know how much the staff enjoy these for increasing their understanding and knowledge of our brands, but also using a lot of what they learn in their own practice too. Even more pleasing to see Flashe as a focus too, its such a great product and one that we will continue to drive. Thank you for all you do Steph 😁

    • Great to see more creative visitors in our space, a real positive to the office environment and, in my view, equally enriching for us as employees, even those of us without direct interactions. I overheard a few moments of gasps and wow’s during the sessions with Mark Cann – the enthusiasm for our products was audible!

    • looks great – could also be a nice employee lunch and learn- flashe is a unique product

    • Great ! Thanks to all UK team to have organised theses dedicated meetings with major retailers such as Cass so they can really experiment the product quality and unic characteristics. Happy to get their feedbacks & insights, so that Brand can use them to improve current tools & communication and support always better business.

Sharing a few images from the Liquitex activation at MELT’s inaugural Mural festival in South Carolina earlier this month. I attended on behalf of NA consumer team along with Prachi Desai representing Liquitex global. We partnered with SC muralist Matteo Miles to create a live painting at the event, which we included in major giveaway in collaboration with a local beverage brand organized by Erin Keenan. Check out our video from on the Liquitex Instagram here: Instagram.
