On May 12th we organised in Le Mans the PAF training session … but what is “PAF” ? in french, a “Piste d’Audit Fiable” …not really attractive would you say ! but with the talent of the KPMG trainers and a wonderful proactive team, this day became an insightful and challenging moment all together ! well done Cindy, Delphine, Marie, Pierre, Valérie, Sarah, Isabelle, Marie Claire, Jean François, Vincent … after “finance is fun”, our new chapter is “tax is fun” ?!?

On Saturday the 13th of May, a small group of us at Crown completed the \’Pretty Muddy\’ 5K Race for Life!

We battled through the mud one obstacle at a time including climbing frames, tunnels and even wrecking balls! It was a challenge, but a very fun one!

We managed to raise over £250 for Cancer Research UK. As this charity is close to all our hearts, we are very grateful for being able to use our community hours to raise money for such a great cause.

Last Thursday I had the honor to receive an award from the Region of Les Pays de la Loire. Christelle Morançais, the President of the Region, has decided for the second year, to highlight 16 women who dare, women with an extraordinary background, inspiring for the younger generations… as was Josephine Baker (committed against racism, black people emancipation, etc.).

So I received a beautiful Trophée Joséphine on Thursday night, rewarding my action launched during my radiotherapy sessions in November 2022: running the 10kms of Le Mans and raising funds to offer 254 IFY tshirts (printed with positive mantras) to offer to 254 women in chemotherapy.

This Trophy is a real opportunity: it will allow me, thanks to the Region support, to share my journey of resilience with young people, testifying in high schools but also to implement a project of creative help to accompany women who start chemotherapy, giving them hope and optimism during such a physically and psychologically difficult time.

I would like to thank all the colleagues who participated in this pot and all those who supported me during this life-changing period. Today I’m back in the big Colart family in therapeutic half-time and I’m fine.

Jeudi dernier j’ai eu l’honneur de recevoir une récompense de la part de le Région des Pays de la Loire. Christelle Morançais, la Présidente de Région, a décidé pour la deuxième année, de mettre en avant 16 femmes qui osent, des femmes ayant un parcours hors du commun, inspirantes pour les jeunes générations… comme l’était Joséphine Baker (engagée pour le racisme, pour l’émancipation des Noirs).

J’ai donc reçu un magnifique Trophée Joséphine jeudi soir pour mon action lancée pendant mes séances de radiothérapie en novembre 2022 : courir les 10kms du Mans et récolter des fonds pour offrir 254 tshirts IFY imprimés avec des mantras à offrir à 254 femmes en chimiothérapie.

Ce Trophée est un véritable sésame pour moi :grâce au soutien de la Région, il va me permettre de témoigner de mon parcours de résilience auprès des jeunes en intervenant dans des lycées mais également de mettre en œuvre un projet d’aide créatif pour accompagner les femmes qui commencent une chimiothérapie, en leur donnant de l’espoir et de l’optimisme dans un parcours tellement difficile physiquement et psychologiquement.

Je souhaite remercier tous les collègues qui ont participé à cette cagnotte et à tous ceux qui m’ont soutenue pendant cette période de vie bouleversante. Aujourd’hui, je suis de retour dans la grande famille Colart en mi-temps thérapeutique et je vais bien.

L’équipe d’auditeurs internes ISO 9001 / 14001 s’agrandit.

A la suite d’un appel à candidature interne, des salariés de Colart se sont portés volontaires pour devenir auditeurs internes. Une formation s’est tenue le 10 et 11 mai dans nos locaux pour comprendre les normes ISO 9001 et 14001 puis apprendre la technique de l’audit interne.

Je suis très fier de compter sur une équipe de 15 personnes qui participera à l’amélioration de notre système de management de la Qualité et de l’Environnement.

The team of ISO 9001 / 14001 internal auditors is growing.

Following an internal recruitment campaign, Colart employees volunteered to become internal auditors. A training session took place on 10 and 11 May at our offices to understand the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and to learn the internal auditing technique.I am very proud to have a team of 15 people who will be involved in improving our Quality and Environmental management system.
