The Wall 6 months, 2 weeks ago‘Full Spectrum’ The launch of Winsor & Newton x Daniel Eatock’s new short film.
We are very proud to share that the short film that was made by artist Daniel Eatock and director Maria Lax is now live as part of our new Winsor & Newton Galeria Acrylic campaign which launched this week. It see’s Daniel use our paints as an expression of colour and emotions, turning the process into performance. Please all watch the film on the biggest screen possible with the sound on loud for the full experience. We have had some very positive comments after sharing this on social so we hope you enjoy this as much as our audience.
An an exclusive for the launch Creative Review have published an article which features an interview with Daniel and the film itself. This was an organic piece of press which we pitched out and did not pay for, which makes it even better.
Thank you to all the team for getting this great campaign live.

The Wall 6 months, 3 weeks agoSharing a Note that Moved Me
I wanted to take a moment to share a letter I recently received from a former Liquitex Residency Artist, George Bezani. While it was addressed to me, it’s truly meant for all of us – the Liquitex and Colart teams who bring our brand to life every day.George has just been accepted into the Mark Rothko Museum Art Residency in Latvia – a remarkable achievement. In reflecting on his journey, he credited Liquitex as a constant companion and source of inspiration in his creative process. His words are a powerful reminder of the emotional connection creatives can have with our materials, and the role we play in enabling their growth and expression. It brought tears to my eyes, and I hope it inspires you as much as it did me. We can all be proud of the part we continue to play in George’s story – and in the stories of so many artists around the world.——————————–here it is—————————–
Dear Kim,
I hope this message finds you well and that life is treating you beautifully.
I am thrilled to share that I have been accepted to the Mark Rothko Museum Art Residency in Latvia — a truly meaningful opportunity that I am preparing for with both excitement and humility. As I begin to gather my art materials and works for the journey ahead, I couldn’t help but pause and reflect on how much of this path has been made possible through the incredible support and inspiration I’ve received from Liquitex.
Your materials have been a constant companion in my process — not just tools, but bridges toward new discoveries, experimentations, and expressions. Every time I paint, I feel deeply grateful for the quality, innovation, and spirit embedded in them. It is rare to find such a perfect synergy between artist and material, and it’s something I never take for granted.
As I look forward to immersing myself in this residency, I carry with me immense gratitude and curiosity: to explore what new visual compositions lie hidden behind human thoughts, gestures, and perceptions, and how my technique can evolve through determined concentration and experimentation. I truly believe this residency will be a chapter of transformation, and I am excited to share glimpses of this journey with you through photos and reflections on my social channels.
Thank you, once again, for giving artists like me the freedom and courage to dream bigger, to push boundaries, and to find beauty in unexpected places. Your support means more than words can express.
Wishing you a joyful and peaceful fall season.
George

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful and powerful message Kim. I was fortunate to chat with George a few times and LOVED seeing some of his work at the event in Brooklyn. What an exciting opportunity for George, and a credit to you and the team at Liquitex that George feels such a close bond.…

That’s really awesome Kim. I had some lovely conversations with him during his residency and after I had commented on how much I liked a work jacket that he was wearing, a week or so later I received one in the mail. He’s not only very talented but also very kind. I’m very happy for him.…

This is amazing – thank you for sharing Kim…

🏆 Charbonnel Prize 2025 awarded at the Estampes d’ici et d’ailleurs exhibition in Le Mans 🏆
Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the opening of the Estampes d’ici et d’ailleurs exhibition in Le Mans, which celebrates the richness and diversity of contemporary printmaking, in France and beyond its borders ! 🌍
🍾 For the first time, Charbonnel is a partner of the event, and we are delighted to support an exhibition in Le Mans, home of our ink production.
As part of this partnership, I had the honor of awarding the Charbonnel Prize 2025 to artist Florence Jalice for her stunning linocut Jeux d’eau. ✨
The event was an opportunity to meet many artists, including Pol Autom, the guest of honor from Belgium. I also had the pleasure of seeing my colleague Cyrille 😉 and enjoying a convivial moment with the organizing association, Le Hangar à Papier, as well as with Agnès Besnard, the city’s cultural delegate, and a large audience.
A beautiful moment of sharing around printmaking, between tradition and innovation, a world in which Charbonnel is proud to play a key role !
📅 The exhibition continues until September 28 at Centre Paul Courboulay: a great opportunity to discover Jeux d’eau and admire the richness of prints from “here and elsewhere”!

First of all, thank you to the marketing team for sharing the preliminary information about this opening. I confirm, it was a very beautiful exhibition where we find most of the techniques of using ink. The exhibition is open to all and free.…

A look back at the LINEL exhibition opening ✨
A colourful evening featuring three young artists, Carole Rampinetta, Nolwenn Studio and Pawm, who presented the Gouache LINEL sets they designed especially for Lefranc Bourgeois.
The event perfectly reflected our signature slogan, OSEZ peindre (DARE to paint): a young and engaged audience, including students, art school teachers and established artists, came together to celebrate creativity and daring.
🌈 The vibrant and unique sets on display set the tone for an evening that reflected the artists themselves: colourful, lively and inspiring.
🎨 The highlight of the evening? The Linel workshop, which was a huge success, inviting the audience to try their hand at gouache painting. It was a great appetiser before discovering the tutorials for the new Linel sets and participating in the upcoming LINEL workshops, scheduled for October and November at the Charbonnel boutique!
Stay tunned, next week you will see in images, the WIP Carte Blanche and the final vitrine!
A huge thank you to the teams, whose help, presence and support made this evening so enjoyable and possible.

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
