The Wall 3 years, 4 months agoHello, all.
Wanted to share this wonderful reel Maria Gottfried created that represents the truly collaborative effort put towards making our wide range of activations a success in North America.
Since coming on board in April of this year as Visual Content Specialist, Maria has enhanced our level of creative output by providing an agile, in-house resource for photo and video production.
As a mighty team of two, we’ve worked with a multitude of stakeholders throughout the year – across brands, channels, clients, artists, etc. – in crafting stories (large and small) that bring to light the unique attributes which make our materials and services so special. We’ve presented the journey of artists through the Liquitex Residency program, developed assets for digital and social campaigns, supported our retailers with exclusive content, helped educate and inform consumers by way of TFAC demos and staff training modules, and helped kick-start local initiatives like DEI that we hope impact the greater Colart community.
I am very proud to be a part of a Marketing team that works tirelessly to leverage their passions, engage their end users, and inspire creators of every stripe.
Here’s to learning our lessons, expressing our gratitude, and creating bigger and better in the new year. Cheers!

Replaced the Sharepoint access link with a direct Dropbox link above. If it comes in low-quality, click the GEAR link at the bottom of the window and choose “1080p”. Thanks!

The Wall 3 years, 4 months agoHey everyone,
Hope all is well,
I\’ve had the privilege to be assigned as the new Project Manager for a big project called B2B Project Shakespeare.
I am pleased to announce that we have launched the new Eastern Europe Colart B2B Trade website (https://trade.colart.com/ee). This is a result of months of hard work and planning. I would like to thank the Eastern Europe team: Jakub Kopek and Michael Janmaat and also my wonderful project team: Nicky Shaw, Rachael Reynolds, Arthur Sanders, Tania Sernivka, and Jasper Van der Wurff for their excellent work on this project. The site has 47 registered clients so far. We went through several iterations of test orders, and technical fixes (also big thanks to Samuel Webster for his help in fixing testing orders) so we can finally release this website to the customers. We have received positive feedback from the initial user testing, and everyone was pleased to proceed to a full launch of the website. Again, huge thanks to everyone involved in this endeavor and I look forward to opening the following site.

The Wall 3 years, 4 months agoFollowing the successful ‘unboxing’ video series for our UK retailer Cass Art the last two years, we have created 7 new unboxing videos for Christmas 2022, featuring key Winsor & Newton and Liquitex products. We shared these with Cass in a variety of video formats, suitable for activation across various channels, alongside the assets created by the brand teams this year.
All the videos consist of a product unwrapping and unboxing sequence (highlighting the packaging and product contents), followed by demo snippets of colours and techniques showcased by the talented Steph Nebbia for Winsor & Newton and Juan Bolivar for Liquitex.
We’re excited to see that this content is being activated by Cass through an engaging 360-campaign, across multiple platforms including the Cass website, Instagram and Youtube social channels, targeted email send-outs as well as select in-store screens.
Across Cass Art Instagram grid and stories, we have a strong posting schedule with 1 x W&N or LQX video going live each week from November until the last week of Christmas, giving our brands great visibility amongst our competitors.
On the Cass website, aside from being featured on select product display pages and at the top search navigation panel, we also have a dedicated Winsor & Newton and Liquitex gifting landing page featuring ‘Christmas Ideas from Winsor & Newton and Liquitex’ (found here: https://www.cassart.co.uk/christmas-gifts-showcasing-cass-arts-choice-of-winsor-newtons-artist-quality-sets/), which features a variety of videos alongside copy and CTA buttons leading straight to shoppable product pages.
We of course aim to gather insights against set metrics and KPIs to measure engagement, sales and potential ROI.

The Wall 3 years, 4 months agoPart of our B Corp certification journey requires Colart to complete a legal test. This legally commits Colart to use business as a force for good, by:
- Creating a material positive impact on society and the environment through your business and operations
- Considering ‘stakeholder interests’ – including your shareholders, employees, suppliers, society and the environment
The legal test is board approved and includes changing our articles of association, which are then filed at companies house.

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."

my french is okish but I had to get to google translate to fully understand and appreciate your post Charlotte:
Sentimental Lightning and Ideal Flash From December 15 to January 8, 2023, the Palais de Tokyo welcomes Sentimental Lightning: the experience of the crowd and the emotion it arouses. Artists and experts gathered for the occasion share their perception of the phenomenon of crowd in this multidimensional exhibition: paintings, poems, photographs and films, documentation, music, dance. But not only…Hugo Vitrani, curator, also invites students from the Casa 93 fashion school to design the outfits of the crowd, addressing the issues of uniform and camouflage, belonging and identity. ‘anonymity. Among the artists, the Bell Angels – Simon Bernheim and Julien Sirjacq-, supported by Lefranc Bourgeois colors. In their work, algorithms, landscapes, exoduses, GPS data, medallions and other charms constitute the crowd on large monochrome formats and metallics. A work as frenetic as it is poetic for this duo adept at the iconic vinyl acrylic Flashe!
How wonderfull Flash is 🙂 – thank you Charlotte and team LB!…
