The Wall 3 years, 6 months agoArtists and creators interested in becoming a Liquitex brand partner can now apply using the recruit form!
The application link has been successfully integrated onto Liquitex.com as seen in the attached screenshot, and we’re working towards embedding the form on its own page.
All submissions are uploaded directly to our talent sourcing/vetting platform (Klear), streamlining the process. We’re excited to expand our opportunities to connect with artists and look forward to the new collaborations that will arise.

The Wall 3 years, 6 months agoHere is an update on our efforts to remove single use plastic from our systems. The DC teams in France USA & UK led by Vincent Bondoux, Carlos Trejo & Shane Williams are making good progress in removing unnecessary plastic from our shipments. In 2020 every pallet that was shipped from Le Mans contained almost 1/2kg of plastic shipping material. The team has now reduced that to 180grammes a 63% reduction and the target for 2023 is a 100% reduction. Ideas have been shared across all sites – well done everyone.

The Wall 3 years, 6 months agoHi everyone, I would like to give you an update on our latest global sales-out position. For those who may not be familiar with the term, sales-out represent the sales of our Colart products made by our retailers in store or online to our consumers.
We receive those sales-out data monthly from many of our key retailers (Amazon, Michaels, Blick, The Range, Cass Art, Cultura,…etc). We can then assess how well our products are selling in their stores, which gives an indication of future sales-in trends ( sales-in being our sales to retailers).
The line chart below shows our monthly global value sales-out in 2022 (purple line) compared with previous years. The good news is that, since May, our monthly 2022 value sales-out is now slightly ahead of 2021 (orange line) and still well above 2019 (light blue line).
This shows that consumers still love our Colart products !

Thank you for sharing Anne Elisabeth. It is a little tricky out there at the moment with some tough economic conditions in many markets….so it is encouraging to see the progress we continue to make on our brands with consumers.…
-
very encouraging to see this healthy data point coming through Anne Elisabeth – I am totally convinced that artists and creatives continue to love and buy our brands despite challenging times – what is also good to realise is that we have achieved this solid performance on the basis of strong marketing investments and brands activation in the past – thank you everybody involved! – so even if we have to run a very tight and lean ship in the months and years to come, the base we stand on gives confidence for the future

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."

Great job bringing this to life! The form looks great and reflects the brand well. this should make the process much more efficient for all applicants, you, and the brand. Would be great to share the true impact in 3-6 months with all, as it could be something other brands would consider. …
that’s wonderful Ashley! Can we forward the link when we receive Liquitex enquiries through the Colart_united instagram page?…
@Jane Beeston yes, please feel free to forward the link for Liquitex inquiries, although right now we are just using this feature for NA artists but will pass on any artists to other markets as applicable. We are also doing the same for community management incoming from Liquitex social channels.Great work Ashley! This is stretching an existing investment in Klear and replacing the previous Artist Talent Pool which populated into a monday.com board, streamlining the process for all 🙂
