The Wall 3 years, 7 months agoFor the state funeral today–my poem.
The Pilgrimage is over. The last farewell been said. The nations washed itself with tears and bowed its solemn head.We shan’t forget this moment, as choral voices sing.We miss you our sweet majesty, but now, God save our King. -

The Wall 3 years, 7 months agoWe received recently the Major of Le Mans, Stéphane Le Foll, in Colart site. It was the occasion for him to see all our recent investments and new lay out which have been, for a part, financially supported by the Le Mans Metropole and County
He confirmed his availability for any question or further support in our development.
He had been coming in 2016 for the 50th site anniversary when he was at that time member of French government as Agriculture Minister.
He was accompanied by his special advisor for Culture and Arts, Emilie Lepourreau.
He is used to mention in his different communication his pride to welcome Colart and its brands in his town.

impressive visitor to receive. I am sure he was pleased to see the investments are put to good use and our continuous improvement. …

The Wall 3 years, 7 months agoAs part of an activity offered by WELLBEING Le Mans ambassador’s, the employees of the COLART LE MANS company met at mealtime around a dish with these Spanish origins. Indeed, a paëlla was serves to our employees. This one was accompagnied by a menu including, in addition to the main course, an orange juice, a gazpacho, and finallyan ice cream.
A pretty good idea to leave this summer with one of the best dishes that represents it.

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
