First day back from vacation and received this very funny and lovely compliment about the W&N Spray Gloss Varnish.  I’m not sure why it worked but glad the consumer is happy!

Hello, My name is Karen Fox. I am a HS art teacher in San Antonio,Texas. I have a story I want to share. I painted an approximately 9ft /4 ft canvas cloth of my son and his roommates in college using acrylic. I brought down the painting and laid it on the garage floor. I sealed it with Winsor Newton finish. I usually park my car where I laid the canvas. Well, I left the house and ran an errand. I came back from errand and parked in the garage like usual. I was on the phone when I realized I just ran over 6 months worth of work. You can imagine the freakout episode that I had. I was devasted. So, I had to run back over it AGAIN in my White Honda Accord to get off of it. I got out to go check on it. AMAZINGLY ENOUGH, nothing happed to my painting. No tire marks, no tread marks, no indentions or anything. I couldn’t believe it. Your product is legit. It’s a great testament of how well your finish works. You can run over it in your car. I will never buy anything else again. Thank you for saving my piece, when I couldn’t save it myself. Feel free to share this story.

Surprised by the service received, a consumer last week wrote us her feedback about the assistance offered by our consumer care team and by one agent in particular.. well done Ann

Your companies response time is incredible to say the least, not just an auto reply but an actual person! Very impressive.

Ann McCarthy responded to my complaint on August 24th.  I was super impressed to have a same day response and she offered an immediate solution with some additional product care instructions.  She offered to replace the product which I was not satisfied with. September 6th I still hadn’t received the replacement and I emailed her to inquire if she could confirm whether it had been shipped yet. She responded on the 8th that she was off this week but had sent an inquiry into head office and would get back to me as soon as possible.  She then followed up to let me know once she got confirmation it was delivered.

I am simply blown away by her high level of customer service and prompt attention to my concerns.  I do feel bad she responded while off but the fact she cared enough too impresses me, she truly made me feel like a valued customer.

Please see that she is recognized and hopefully rewarded for her excellent customer services and professionalism.  She is responsible for creating a loyal Liquitex customer for life. Money is often tight and I have sometimes substituted for a less expensive brand but going forward I will purchase Liquitex when ever possible to support the company.

I do not mean to gush or be long winded but I’m just truly amazed and impressed by the amazing customer experience Ann provided me.  It’s so rare now a days”.

Here in the UK we are mourning the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Watching the news I couldn\’t help being  touched by her dedication to her role and regardless of where you stand on the role of Monarchy I personally had deep admiration of her hard work. She was someone who spanned two centuries of massive change.  I share here a nice pop art image.
