The Wall 3 years, 7 months agoThe Snazaroo Team are always up for a challenge.
Between the 1st of June 2022 & the 7th of September 2022 ten of the team entered a competition to become the “Biggest Loser” to see who could lose the most weight.
Diets were adhered to & weigh-ins held at regular intervals, to see how they were doing.
Everyone paid £10 to enter and the winner took the pot of £100
Our winner was John Bosley, who lost 6.3kilos (or 13.86 Lbs in old money) 4.9% of his starting body weight.
Everyone did well with second & third places losing 4% and 3.3% bodyweight respectively.
All who started, finished and lost weight. Well done to everyone who took part.
Photo shows John receiving his prize money from Production Manager James Waygood.
During the presentation the Team asked if they could do it again, so we agreed to start in January for a six month period, watch this space!

I had always considered the team @ Snazaroo to be full of winners… but this is a great way of losing and well done to everyone who managed to commit for the full 3 months! Not an easy thing to do and I am sure everyone feels much better and healthier now. Looking forward to see who’ll join next time!

The Wall 3 years, 8 months agoThe Journey – Welcome Aboard (Poland)
This week we would like to share some interesting news on the campaign we launched together with Empik, the biggest retailer in Poland, and influencer Samanta Lesiak!
The idea of the campaign was to explore the personal journey of Samanta through drawing and painting.
In June, we shared a post about the first tutorial published on Empik’s Instagram channel, a dedicated Youtube video, and more beautiful things.
But we have more content to share with you! During the past three months, we published three tutorials and contests on different themes:
- July tutorial ‘Flora’ – check out the beautiful flower that Samanta created
- August tutorial ‘Colors of my favorite city’ – influencer decided to create an illustration of a famous Grunwaldzki Bridge in Wrocław, Poland.
- September tutorial ‘Most stunning sunset’
During these months, we’ve received a great number of artworks, and thanks to this campaign, Empik became more open-minded to new business opportunities and marketing campaigns.
At the end of September, we will be finishing our campaign with this key retailer. It was a great journey, and we are excited to think about the next collaborations together!

Thanks for sharing Lily. Real powerhouses you have worked with, both Empik and Samanta!
And through both of them, you managed to use all available communication channels to interact with the audience and drive consumers to Empik’s webshop. Well done! …-

The Wall 3 years, 8 months agoWhat does Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion mean to you?
This month, the Wellness Committee and the DEI Council of North America are coming together to express how Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion play in the wellbeing of every workplace. We look forward to a North America sitewide Lunch and Learn on September 20th where we will explore what unifies us, as well as what separates us. Alongside this event, North America employees are invited to share their thoughts and feelings about what DEI means to them – personally and professionally.

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
