The Wall 3 years, 11 months agoToday we start the first session with 2 groups in Le Mans of training “Finance For Not Finance” … I do not know if they had FUN, but sure there were SMILES and very intense, positive and interactive discussions around the table (and around finance).
Thank you all, it was a real pleasure to be your teachers today !

The Wall 3 years, 11 months ago🎨 🌈 📸 🌈 🎥 🌈 🖌️ Sharing some behind-the-scenes from yesterday’s Snazaroo content shoot we held for some upcoming NPDs & comms campaigns.
Our (little) models & crew did a fantastic job, powering through 6.5 hours of content shooting! And our talented face painter, Emma, used her incredible face painting skills to bring the face paint looks to live. Also, a very big thank you to Karen & team Elephant for providing us with a great studio location for the day.
We can’t wait to share the final results with you soon!-

Natalia Flindall posted an update in the group
The Wall 3 years, 11 months agoAccessibility is important on all aspects of life everyday but for Global Accessibility Awareness Day it is particularly important to raise awareness of being inclusive for all but more specifically for those with disabilities that are both visible and invisible.
As the web is growing more and more it is becoming crucial to have content on our websites accessible for everyone. The training tutorials All able are providing are a great resource to all grow as a company to improve how we output content digitally whether through email, social media, PDF’s, websites and more.
As a person with Dyslexia from my personal experience what helps me when navigating websites is if written content is well spaced out, not cluttered and easy to find. If content starts becoming cluttered on a page it gets a bit overwhelming when trying to understand the information given. This is one example of how a pages layout needs to be considered from an accessibility perspective.

Toby Russell replied 3 years, 11 months ago
Accessibility has traditionally been a forgotten priority in building websites, put to the back of the queue of features and all too frequently left in the ‘to do later’ pile. Its great that we are now giving this the priority it deserves within Colart…
-
I agree!…
-
-
So brave to be sharing your personal experience and a great call out to acknowledge that with the differences we have and the “big melting pot” that we co-habit within, that it is important we are all-inclusive and make those all important changes when needed.…
-
Thank you …

Thank you Karen…

Your contribution to the Digital Accessibility project has been huge: Your work on the new LB e-commerce website, the Charbonnel e-commerce website, the external audits, new checklists and guidelines, and the way you’ve shared knowledge with the team and beyond through training sessions and accessibility reviews.
So much of this project’s success is due to your passion and skill, thank you Natalia!…

Thank you! and I’m really grateful for being a part of the project to help improve our websites and bring in knowledge to help others…

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
