The Wall 4 years, 2 months agoLe site internet Charbonnel fait peau neuve !
New look for the Charbonnel Boutique!
Just like the Charbonnel boutique, the charbonnelshop.fr website has been modernised, inspired by authentic French elegance.
A real invitation to discover the different specialised categories of Art printing such as engraving, lithography, linocut or gilding, but also technical advice and history of Maison Charbonnel, all brought together on a single platform, whose design and ergonomics have been redesigned to allow a 2.0 escape to the heart of Parisian Art.
Reassuring values in line with the expectations of eCommerce with a 100% secure website offering a CB or Paypal payment, a home delivery service (and click and collect for France in Paris), free delivery from 60€ of purchases, and a 100% customer client.
This launch is coming with reactivation of social networks, Facebook and Instagram @charbonnelparis
It is the work of an efficient and committed team that has made this project possible and that has given birth to FR and ROW sites (for the moment Italy, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg and Austria) in the colours of Colart values!Thank you to the French and English teams for their hard work!

The Wall 4 years, 2 months agoWe at Snazaroo join the rest of the world in our sadness about the developments in Ukraine.
To show our support we have changed our logo lighting on the front of our building to the colours of the national flag of Ukraine.
We have also decided to merge into our international women’s day celebrations, a collection of essential supplies to assist the people affected by this terrible situation in Ukraine.-
That’s fantastic. What a great initiative also. My heart breaks for the people of Ukraine.…

Thanks to all who contributed with their ideas. As Linus Pauling said: if you want to have a good idea, you must have many ideas. And then, you just throw away the bad ideas. Therefore it is great to see the response from China and that there are so many people who have cross-functional ideas. I would love to hear from France as well about their local “think tank” idea box in the factory. For anyone working behind a desk and with a great idea: https://intranet.colart.com/en/think-tank/ is the place to be. …

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
