The Wall 4 years, 3 months agoI’m happy to announce the results of the BSI Audit (ISO9001 and ISO14001) on le Mans site this year.
After a complete week of audit with 15 meetings in a great part of the departments of the site, the auditor defined 2 non conformities, a few improvment opportunities and several positive points. Even better than last year.
He also closed the 3 non-conformities from last year after analysis of our corrective actions.
This is a great achievment and this is the result of a real engagement of the teams.
You will find a picture of the closure meeting and you will see how satisfied we are.-
Well done to all involved in this – I know well the work involved to achieve these standards.…

The Wall 4 years, 3 months agoReally excited to see Elephant magazine discussed on Russell Tovey and Robert Diament’s Talk Art podcast this week (in a glowing light!!)! It’s a special about the Turner Prize, and they discuss a piece we published a couple of weeks ago that did very well online at the time. The piece was commissioned by Louise Benson, and explores the way critics engage with the art scene in Northern Ireland. Always exciting to see Elephant pieces getting this kind of reach and they have kindly posted it to the Talk Art instagram too. Check out the podcast here, it’s from 40 mins https://play.acast.com/s/talkart/zoe-whitley-aaron-cezar-kim-mcaleese-russell-tovey-turner-pr And the original article here https://elephant.art/does-the-turner-prize-deserve-better-art-no-but-array-collective-deserves-better-critics-15122021/

The Wall 4 years, 3 months agoWith SE Asia retail slowly opening up from the COVID lockdowns – time to refocus on retail to make the most of opportunities there too – catching up with some ‘oldish’ NPD now in retail too!! Better late than never!
-
Debate can be had about when a piece of NPD stops being an NPD and it is great to see that even though some markets are late to the game, they still get on board. Hoping for positive responses!…

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
