The Wall 1 year, 4 months agoLast week, together with Jakub Kopek, we started the reconstruction of Paper Concept stores. Thanks to the reduction of the LQX spray range, we have the opportunity to add 22ml and 250ml Liquitex Basics to our shelves in all of their stores in Poland. Additionally, the shop window in their flagship Warsaw store has been changed.

The Wall 1 year, 4 months agoHi everyone, I\’m Jennifer Torres, the Retail Activation Specialist for the Eastern Region in North America. I recently held a Liquitex Bio-Based Heavy Acrylics open table event at the Blick Art Materials store on Myrtle Ave in Brooklyn, NY. The store staff and customers had the opportunity to try the new acrylics & mediums. Overall feedback was extremely positive, everyone was very impressed with the intense pigment, thick consistency, archival feature and especially price point!

Great activation, Jen! …
-
Great to see Jen – and hear such positive feedback. The more I have spoken to customers and attended demos with Bio-Based the more I am getting the feedback that, regardless of other benefits including bio-based etc, it is just a wonderful paint to work with 😊…

The Wall 1 year, 4 months agoAt Crown Artist Brush, we’re fortunate to have a 73-year-old neighbor who reached out, expressing a desire to volunteer as he’s feeling lonely. To support and inspire him, we decided to donate some factory second brushes. Today, we presented him with them, encouraging him to create many more masterpieces. We hope this gesture brings him joy and fosters a connection through creativity. Happy days! 😊

The Wall 1 year, 4 months agoSeems to be a week of certifications! We have finally completed our FSC audit for 2024! We started this process with CCI and Jack Rees (FSC who?) back in April a HO audit and then a physical audit in May in Le Mans with Stephanie Orain (first FSC audit) and Stephane Baudet, this year has been really complicated and arduous and the process is getting tougher! Thank you to everyone that was involved it takes a lot of collaboration, this certification is important to our customers and we are continuously asked about FSC / PEFC certifications for our products. (Currently in the middle of PEFC audit – so watch this space!)

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."

great to hear that you managed to utlise the space to drive the broader LQX category with the rationalization of sprays. I’m sure these lines will turn better for Paper Concept too. Very stylish W&N window! 🙂 …
looks great, well done…
not sure about the wreath in the shopping window (personal opinion) but very convinced about the presentation of our brands Dominik! Soon everybody has to come to Poland to see best in class brand presence. Well done!…
wreath a matter of taste,
the owner of the company/shop is in favor,
customers comment positively – usually,
Poland, however, is still quite a traditional country 😉
Interesting fact is that the glass ornaments – called in Poland baubles – were painted with liquitex spray paint,
soon, the florist who prepared these decorations, will present a video on his instagram in which he will show the painting of glass ornaments – 250k followers …
Jakubie, did you put in a forecast? Once that florist goes live on Insta, sales of spray will quadruple!
It is the right season for white, gold, silver, green and red 😉
Go get them ! (and agree with all other comments here that the shop window looks fabulous)…
I agree the shop window looks wonderfully stylish….wreath and all 😃…
Looks terrific!…
Congrats Dominik and team. Good to see that the discussion held a few month ago during the store visit (both on merchandising layout and window) has now come to life !…
