The Wall 1 year, 6 months agoL’ICONIQUE PEINTURE FLASHE LEFRANC BOURGEOIS FÊTE SES 70 ANS ET DÉVOILE UNE ÉDITION COLLECTOR

THE ICONIC LEFRANC BOURGEOIS FLASHE PAINTING CELEBRATES ITS 70TH ANNIVERSARY AND UNVEILS A COLLECTOR’S EDITION
We’re delighted to bring you a sneak preview of the 6 Flashe Collector colours (sold as Limited Editions from April 2025) created by 6 international artists who break free of boundaries and frames, who paint with their fingers, on sculptures or on monumental murals… They all embody freedom, daring and joy!
Thanks to JonOne, RaKaJoo, Agnes Cecile, Thierry Lefort, Paolo Troilo and Kelly Anna!
The first modern paint was created in 1954: Flashe. It was originally designed for theatres and opera houses because its matt qualities prevented reflections from spotlights and its multi-substrate coverage (wood, metal, fabric) meant that stage sets could be painted and repainted in record time.
Vasarely, Warhol and Niki de Saint Phalle were just a few of the great artists of the time who were impressed by its properties.
In the 1980s, Victor Vasarely, the great master of optical art, created a Flashe x Vasarely signature collection.
Today, Lefranc Bourgeois has invited six contemporary artists to follow in Vasarely’s footsteps and contribute to the Lefranc Bourgeois legacy.
Each artist was able to spend a day at the factory in Le Mans, sharing the lab and production teams, and creating their own Flashe colour!
Since 1720, the Lefranc Bourgeois brand and artists have maintained a unique and indefectible link!

Lefranc Bourgeois Flashe offers a potential similar as a paint to Posca marker success: modern since 1954, unique in its velvet and covering pigmented finish, it appeals to everyone from fine artists, to decorative artists up even to urban artists….! … -
Congrats team! Looks great…

The Wall 1 year, 6 months agoWe are already on our way to the next trade fair, but today we want to reminisce with you about the biggest comics festival in Eastern Europe. It is always held at the turn of September and October in Łódź. This year, fans of comics, cosplay and games met a little earlier. On 14-15.09, nearly 20,000 people met at the 35th International Festival of Comics and Games in Łódź.
The international line-up of artists included:
- American screenwriter known for his ‘Gotham Central’, ‘Wonder Woman’ and ‘Lazarus’ series Greg Rucka
- Filipe Andrade, a Portuguese who publishes comics drawn to scripts by a number of international artists.
- Marc Torices – creator of ‘The happy life of the sad dog Cornelius’,
- Jakub Rebelka and French scriptwriter Romuald Giulivo – authors of ‘The Last Day of H.P. Lovecraft’
- authors of the Timof Comics publishing house – Tony Sandoval – a Mexican with a uniquely intriguing style
- Erik Svetoft, whose latest ‘SPA’ won the best book design award in Sweden in 2021.
All of these artists mentioned above, many others from Poland and abroad who cannot be counted, as well as a wide range of comic book enthusiasts visiting the fair had the opportunity to try Winsor-Newton and Snazaroo products.
During the festival, we also had the pleasure of putting on a number of workshops and demonstrations by collaborating artists using our drawing tools such as markers, crayons, pencils, inks, etc.
Here are a few pictures from the event in the hope that you will get a taste of this amazing vibe.

Irek – thank you for perfect preparation & execution of this event.
Great job!.
This is probably the 5th or 6th time we have been there, and you have been as involved as possible from the very beginning.
Each time, it takes a lot of work. Seeing the results makes up for it many times over.Several times I helped with the preparations, several times I just participated in the event, but I always leave Lodz smiling.
Thanks to such events, where we are meeting so many positive freaks, our work is so interesting and rewarding.

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
