The Wall 1 year, 7 months agoWe are excited to share with you that our new 1L Fine acrylic launched!
It’s a long journey to develop this range, lots of sourcing and test done since Y2023, we tried several package such as pump bottle, sachet, and finally chosed transparent bucket with handle to benefit outdoor street art.
The 30 colours in this range are labelled with CLP classification, and 26 colours of them pass EN71-3 test, it will be great if you are also interested in it!
And the new range will replace our existing 1kg size, which will greatly improve the margin, and hope to catch up more sales with its competitive price!

as you say… a long journey, but now we are there, and looking forward to taking a little market share back from the competition as a result of this improved packaging. …

The Wall 1 year, 7 months agoDo you know “Vis ma Vie” program ? a fun & cool opportunity to discover another job inside Colart !
Estelle Wang (procurement team) has chosen to experiment the “brand director” job last week : She came in Paris, in Charbonnel shop 1 full day and discovered that this is a polyvalent position, for instance helping Virginie Marugan, our shop responsible, to prepare the web orders (+40% = more orders to prepare each day) for our dear Charbonnel clients!
She also discovered the “back office” of the Brand team : ensuring that all visible actions are nourrishing brand preferency and converting more artists to choose our brands : marketing means more than “advertising and events” : it also means working on quality, profitability, hand in hand with others services like factory, procurement, sales…
Thanks HR to give this opportunity ! Vis Ma Vie comes from a reality show on French TV few years ago. Another one would be good to try : “Patron Incognito” : each GLT member participates to experiment “on field” experience !

This is wonderful 😃
I know Carole Briquet and the HR team work so hard to bring Vis ma vie to life in France and this is a great example of how you can use the initiative to build your knowledge about the company, what we do and our brands!
Thank you Clemence to highlighting this

The Wall 1 year, 7 months agoGreat to see agility in action!
A special thanks to Tim DePack for leading this and seen here getting the endcap assets together to send out for the LB Flashe test we have this Autumn with Michaels. Tim has ploughed on when many would have given up!
It has taken the effort of many, including Tim, Clemence and the Brand team, Carlos, Elba and the DC4 team for relabeling all the jars and tubes, Duane on asset creation, Annie on hand painting the point of sale, Amanda for all the coordination, Aaron and Margherita for getting this over the line with the team at Michaels. Well done to all of you, and anyone else who touched this project – a huge thank you too.

The Wall 1 year, 7 months agoNYC designer Aaron Potts has used Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache as the starting point for sketching all of his creations. Last Friday, we sponsored and attended the NY Men\’s Day show, where his new collection featured one of these gouache sketches! This collaboration presents an opportunity to see \”Through the Eyes of the Artist\” in a unique way by highlighting the connection between fashion and art. Maria G. captured some great footage and images you\’ll see in-feed on the WN Instagram page this week. We captured social content on-site and were able to post the live coverage on Winsor & Newton\’s Instagram Stories last Friday, thanks to Serena managing global social! Great job Erin on coordinating and we\’re looking forward to seeing the partnership continue!

Millions of tonnes of clothing, shoes and other textiles end up in landfill every year because very little is sent for recycling .
“The current fashion system uses high volumes of non-renewable resources, including petroleum, extracted to produce clothes that are often used only for a short period of time, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration. “This system puts pressure on valuable resources such as water, pollutes the environment and degrades ecosystems in addition to creating societal impacts on a global scale.” There are good reasons to seek out alternatives to chucking clothes in the bin – globally the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions, with textile production alone is estimated to release 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere every year. Vast amounts of water are also needed to produce the clothes we wear too and the fashion industry is responsible for 20% of global waste water. At the same time we are buying more clothes than ever – the average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than they did 15 years ago. More than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe. Globally, around 56 million tonnes of clothing are bought each year, and this is expected to rise to 93 million tonnes by 2030 and 160 million tonnes by 2050.
"Reuse. Recycle. Rethink — your clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill."
