Download PDFWith the completion of the Northern European regional restructuring and the refinement of the Operations Finance structure following the recent departure of Mark Brown, I have taken the opportunity to review our Global Finance reporting structure.
This review has concluded that a fully functional reporting model is the optimal structure to enable alignment within the finance function whilst ensuring we continue close relationships with the Business Unit leaders across Colart.
I am therefore pleased to confirm the following changes across the group that took place at the beginning of May:
1. Southern Europe – Patricia Le Mauff has been confirmed as Southern Europe Finance Director, now reporting directly to me, continuing to sit on the Finance Leadership Team. Patricia’s focus will continue to be focused on the efficient operations of the regional finance team, financial support to the International Business Unit (CCI) and credit control service centre covering all markets in Europe, and on supporting Thierry Collot and his team in their profitable growth agenda for the region. Patricia will be reinforcing her current team and will communicate separately with the details.
2. China – Cathy Peng as CTAM Finance Director now reports directly to me, joining the Finance Leadership Team. Cathy will take ownership for finance service to both the Operations and Commercial business units and as such Melody Xie, Commercial Finance Business Partner will now report directly to Cathy.
3. Operations – the Operations finance teams in Le Mans and the UK will now report directly into Liam O’Sullivan, Group Finance Controller. In effect Philippe Chauvin, Le Mans Finance and Administration Manager, Gaynor Smith, Snazaroo Accountant and Heidi Shorrock, Crown Accountant all report directly to Liam. Philippe will join the Finance Leadership Team.
The current structure in North America under Mark Triano and UK/Northern Europe/ International under Stuart Jell will continue unchanged.

Changement d’Organisation de la Finance au niveau Groupe
Avec la redéfinition de la Région commerciale Europe du Nord et la modification du département Finances pour les Opérations suite au départ de Mark Brown, j’ai saisi l’opportunité de revoir l’organisation et les liens hiérarchiques au sein de notre structure finance globale.
Cette analyse a conduit à la conclusion qu’un modèle d’organisation 100% fonctionnel en termes de reporting hiérarchique est la structure optimale à adopter, à la fois pour être alignés au sein même du département financier tout en maintenant un support étroit aux responsables de Business Units de Colart.
Je suis donc heureux de vous présenter les changements suivants au sein du Groupe, applicables dès le mois de mai :
1. Europe du Sud – Patricia Le Mauff, en qualité de Directrice Finances Europe du Sud me reporte dorénavant directement et continue à faire partie du FLT. Patricia dirige le service finances de la région Europe du Sud, tout en apportant le soutien financier à la Business Unit International (CCI) et pilote le credit management qui couvre tous les marchés européens et l’international. Elle continuera à assister Thierry Collot et son équipe dans leur mission pour parvenir à une croissance rentable sur les marchés Europe du Sud. Dans ce sens, Patricia va renforcer son équipe et communiquera prochainement sur ce sujet.
2. Chine – Cathy Peng, Directrice Financière de CTAM, me reporte dorénavant directement et rejoint le FLT. Cathy prendra en charge les services financiers partie Opérations et partie Commerciale et, à ce titre, Melody Xie, Responsable Finances partie Commercial de CTAM, reportera désormais directement à Cathy.
3. Industriel – Les équipes finances du Mans et UK reportent maintenant à Liam O’Sullivan, Contrôleur Finances Groupe. En pratique, Philippe Chauvin, Responsable Administratif & Financier, Gaynor Smith, Comptable de Snazaroo et Heidi Shorrock, Comptable de Crown rapporteront dorénavant directement à Liam. Philippe Chauvin participera au FLT.
L’actuelle structure finances de la Région Amérique du Nord dirigée par Mark Triano et celle de la Région UK/Europe du Nord/International dirigée par Stuart Jell restent inchangées.
