Colart has been donating discontinued stock to local charities for some time now. For our UK and EU employees, here is another chance to help where you care the most.
Why does Colart donate discontinued stock?
The discontinued stock that sits at our warehouses takes up valuable space. The impact of donating to charities, rather than disposing of the stock, has a more significant social impact and does not impact the environment. This stock would typically end up in the landfill.
The process of donating allows you to work with local charities that you are interested or passionate about and want to help.
The two core principles of our charity process:
1) Art creates wellbeing, art is therapy.
2) Access to art is for everyone- inclusive education.
It is also an exciting opportunity to work closely with the charity you are passionate about, and you could even use your social responsibility hours to help the charity.
How to donate stock?
You can now apply for a donation through our Elephant Academy website here thanks to the team at Elephant.
Resources and forms are available in the Toolbox, in General forms:
• The Guiding Principles for Charity Donations
• The Charity Donation Process Flow
• The Donation Feedback Form
Feedback
Please ask the charity to complete the donation feedback form store in Toolbox, General form, in order to understand the impact of our materials.
Hopefully, lockdown has provided some “airtime” to appreciate the charities you care about. Here is the ideal opportunity for you, personally, to take this a step further.
