Reporting Covid & Contact Cases
Covid infections continue to rise across the UK, though the vaccination programme correspondingly seems to be keeping the number of hospitalisations low, which is good news.
However, the virus is still here and with the restrictions easing from 19th July, we want to ensure we have the processes in place to keep you all safe. Therefore we are reiterating the simple Covid reporting process:
- If you have been diagnosed with Covid 19 or been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid 19, you must not come to the office - remember, this rule is a crucial commitment for hot desk booking.
- In any case, please inform your Line Manager with the following information: 1 whether it is a Covid or Contact case, 2. Period of isolation.
- Your Line Manager will then inform HR.
Further information on isolating is available on the NHS website and is available here

Huckletree provided the following information for all members in a communication dated 16th July 2021.
We’re excited to welcome this long awaited return to ’normal life’ but our first priority is the comfort, productivity, and wellbeing of you - our members. We want to ensure the transition is as safe and stress-free as possible for the entire community, which is why we’ve decided to keep many of our safety measures in place to do our part to help control the spread of the virus:
- Face Coverings: We’ll continue to ask all our team members to wear face coverings when moving through the communal areas and kindly ask that our members do the same.
- Cleaning: Enhanced hygiene controls including our increased cleaning regimes, sanitising stations and sneeze screens will remain in place throughout the spaces to keep you and our team safe.
- NHS Test & Trace: QR Codes will remain available at the Front of House at all of our UK locations so that all who wish to continue to check in to our spaces, can. Visitors should continue to be registered in advance as normal.
- Meeting Rooms / Events: Our meeting rooms and event spaces will continue to be available to book with reduced capacities in place as suggested. Please continue to book your meeting rooms in advance so that our wonderful cleaning teams can keep them clean between each use.
- Member Socials: Our members' breakfasts and drinks will continue to go ahead - - we won’t be enforcing seated socialising, but please be mindful of other members around you.
- COVID Reporting: We continue to ask that if you’ve tested positive or someone you’ve been in close contact with has tested positive for Coronavirus, that you inform your location’s General Manager and isolate according to the current government guidelines.
