Colart is committed to sustainability demonstrated by our ambition to become a B-Corp company in the short term and to be carbon neutral in the longer term (by 2030). Recognising the priority of this agenda, we are pleased to confirm that effect from the beginning of next year, Richard Llewellyn will become Chief Sustainability Officer with a dedicated focus on sustainability.
To enable this emphasis, Richard’s other current responsibilities will be aligned with other members of the GLT to create a logical business structure for Colart specifically:
Manufacturing:
With immediate effect Mark Brindle (Lowestoft) and Adrian Ryan (Minehead) will report directly to Dominique Murzeau who, as Chief Manufacturing Officer, will have clear focus and accountability for all manufacturing activities globally. This change enables Dominique to optimise continuous improvement and collaboration within our Global manufacturing footprint, as well as ensuring global alignment for Quality and Health and Safety.
Supply Chain:
With effect from 1 January 2022, the New Product Development project team will report directly to Bruno Lebourdais who, as Chief Supply Chain Officer, will have the opportunity to reinforce NPD as a fundamental part of the Supply Chain journey. This change will lead to the optimisation of communication and collaboration across the business in support of this important area.
Finance and Governance:
With effect from 1 January 2022, Jenny O’Brien (Compliance and Regulations) will report directly to Jonathan Spight, Chief Financial Officer. This change will reinforce the importance of this area as a potential business risk, as well as embedding value creation thinking arising from opportunities linked to compliance and regulations.
The final adjustment is for Trademark accountability to transfer to the Brand teams as appropriate enabling direct control and communication with the Trademark support services.
You will find here a visual summary to help you understand the changes explained above.
We wish everyone whose role or reporting line changes through reshaping our operations, total success. We look forward to seeing everyone play their part in making Colart a truly sustainable company.
