Earlier this month we communicated how horrified we are by the by the situation unfolding in Ukraine. With distressing news unfolding each day seeing millions of innocent people are having their lives devastated, we want to further our support.
Collectively we will act as follows: –
- Donate £25,000 to Save the Children who work tirelessly round the clock to support the most vulnerable from war and atrocities, namely children.
- Set up a JustGiving page so that you and your friends, family, and communities can join us in fundraising.
- Donate an additional sum of up to £25,000 by matching any money raised in the JustGiving site.
Finally, we have sent £15,000 worth of art materials suitable for children to an agency in Poland. These art materials will then be distributed to the many locations housing Ukrainian refugees, and we hope art can support children during this traumatic time.
As well as sourcing this agency, many of our colleagues in Northern Europe (Jakub Kopek, Dominik Nocon, Martin Wester and Annette Ewers) have gone above and beyond in their support for the situation and we are incredibly proud of their efforts.
