Internal Communications: Deadlines For Telling Your Story

Corporate Communications will deliver its narrative through the “storytelling” technique. 

“Storytelling is the vivid description of ideas, beliefs, personal experiences, and life- lessons through stories or narratives that evoke powerful emotions and insights.” 

For Colart, storytelling provides a framework that allows us to be “authentic” and “honest”; our values come to life within the messaging.

We distribute communications through different channels using four types of storytelling:

  • Oral storytelling – live streams, podcasts, town hall meetings
  • Visual storytelling – videos, infographics, graphs, images
  • Written storytelling – announcements, emails, surveys
  • Digital storytelling – intranet, The Wall, colart.com, LinkedIn

Intranet Announcements & Colart News

These announcements are posted as a news article on the intranet and included in the weekly Colart News newsletter emailed to you every Monday.

If you have a news article you’d like published, please get in touch with us and make sure you complete this form at the same time.

The form allows you to tell your story and for us to understand what kind of announcement you want to see on the intranet.

We invite anyone to contribute. Once you fill out the form, remember to let us know that an announcement is coming.

Deadline for publishing a news article:  previous Monday at 17:00 GMT

*If you want your announcement to be published and included in the next Colart News, we need the completed form before the deadline.

Colart News closes for publication on Friday at 17:00 GMT. 

*This means that the proofreading and final version are completed by this time. Otherwise, the announcement will not be included in the following Colart News.

Joining or Leaving the Colart Family announcements

You can announce new starters, people joining the Colart family and leavers, people leaving the Colart family, which we can publish on Colart News.

Colart Academy – video editing and publication

 

Colart Academy is our e-learning platform that allows you to learn what you like when you like and where you like.

View the “how-to” course here if you want to produce eLearning videos. Then you need to complete this form, and we will get in touch with you.

Timeframes to complete Colart Academy videos will vary depending on the requirements, such as the number of videos, length, and complexity of the work. We will work with you to establish a realistic timeframe that meets your needs.
