Update on Lindéngruppen Global Management Conference 2022

On 27 and 28 April, the Group Leadership Team joined the Lindengroup Global Conference held in Sweden. This conference brought together the senior management from all parts of the Linden Group including Colart, Beckers, Begg & Co and Hoganas as well as the Linden group team. This was the first in-person conference for two years, with previous ones held remotely.

Whilst networking, sharing of ideas and thinking in fresh new ways were of course fundamental to this conference as a whole, there were two distinct areas of focus:

1. Value Creation Model

The first day focused on the planned group implementation of the Value Creation Model from 2023: a model that will transform how Lindengroup companies measure their value creation for a sustainable world. The model is the first of its kind and enables us to quantify the value of our social, environmental and economic impact – in other words, People Planet and Profit. More communications will follow on this topic in Colart as we want everyone to be part of the journey.

2. Inner Development Goals Summit

The second day allowed us to be part of the first Inner Development Goals Summit. Lindéngruppen is a key sponsor, with many representatives from other companies attending and exploring the importance and power of the individual for achieving purposeful, sustainable, and productive lives. The thinking behind this conference resonated with much of what we are doing and trying to do in Colart – we understand people make the difference as we look to create and sustain a culture that enables this impact to thrive.
