Since the Colart Academy was launched we have seen a steady increase in numbers viewing the learning content – particularly when we added the internal Colart developed courses: Colart people developing Colart people.
We do however realise there is one major challenge with the Colart Academy and that is language capability. This is something that you have fed back to us and something that our DEI councils around the group have highlighted as a barrier to an inclusive strategy for personal and professional development. For this reason, we have been looking for ways of increasing language capability whilst also enhancing the breadth of the content.
One pillar of the Colart Academy that remains low on content is that of Community – a pillar that we believe is fundamentally about relationships. This sense of relationship applies to the community we have in the Colart Family and also the broader community beyond Colart. To ensure the strength and success of these relationships, the most important relationship that we need to nurture is the one with our self in other words, our wellbeing. In partnership with LifeSpeak , we have therefore curated a number of courses focusing on the different pillars of wellbeing; physical, emotional, social and mental. LifeSpeak is the premier mental health and wellbeing platform that provides expert education and advice on issues that affect everyday lives – most importantly with all films accompanied by language subtitles.
We will be launching monthly a series of new films with each launch accompanied by an aligned campaign driven by regional Wellbeing Ambassadors. The first series will focus on Environmental Consumerism providing a guide to understanding the subject plus, top tips to reducing your carbon footprint, one step at a time. The Ambassadors in Le Mans will be leading this launch and you will see a number of communications linked to the subject encouraging you to watch and learn!
For information, the first series will include subtitles in French and Spanish and the remaining series during the year, will be in ALL languages.
