CAFA and Colart China Establish Off-Campus Practice Teaching Base for Sketching and Painting
On April 25th, the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), the top art academy in China, and Colart announced the official opening of the off-campus practice teaching base for sketching and painting.
The partnership between CAFA and Colart dates back to 2016, when the Owner and Board of Colart visited the CAFA campus and established a series of cooperative programs. These programs included lectures, demonstrations, selective courses, and the Resident Artist Programme in London. The collaboration was designed to cultivate talent at CAFA and inspire young artists worldwide, aligning with Colart's vision to inspire every artist in the world.
The opening ceremony was attended by Jane Beeston, Chief People Officer, who delivered a speech on behalf of Colart. Dominique Murzeau, Chief Manufacturing Officer, and Ms. Chen Ye, the Party Secretary of the School of Experimental and Technological Art of CAFA, signed an agreement to jointly build the practice teaching base and revealed the certificate pallete. Hunter Zhang, General Manager of CTAM, and SLT members signed a palette to witness the momentous occasion.
Following the signing ceremony, Hunter Zhang, Michaele Sun (Manufacturing Manager), and Miao Miao (TFAC) led CAFA professors on a tour of the Colart plant.
The establishment of the off-campus practice teaching base marks an important milestone in the collaboration between CAFA and Colart. The new facility will provide a dedicated space for students to practice sketching and painting and learn from experienced artists. It will help to further cultivate talent at CAFA and inspire young artists worldwide.
Colart remains committed to its vision of inspiring every artist in the world, and the partnership with CAFA is an integral part of achieving this goal. The off-campus practice teaching base will be a valuable resource for artists and students alike, and Colart looks forward to continued collaboration with CAFA.

Sounds like a very good collaboration, both for our brands as well as for our sites in China. It would be really nice to see how this space gets used and what kind of art will be created?
