Another Kidderminster Milestone: Hayley Griffiths Celebrates 30 Years at Colart
Hayley Griffiths initiated her tenure at Oasis Arts and Craft Products on August 10th, 1993, as a press operator within the press department. Her responsibilities encompassed the assembly of paint tins, including the iconic red paint tin labeled as WT12.
In 1999, Oasis Arts and Craft Products was acquired by Colart. Following this, Hayley transitioned to the warehouse department in the newly established distribution centre, where she became an integral part of the order fulfillment team. Her core duties revolved around the selection and packaging of customer orders. Through unwavering dedication and hard work, Hayley's contributions led to her advancement to the role of Team Leader.
In 2009, Hayley and her husband Charlie welcomed their son Jai into the world, marking a significant life milestone. Following a period of maternity leave, Hayley seized an opportunity to transfer into the SIOP department. Over the course of two years, she collaborated closely with Liz Ford, honing her expertise in customer service.
By 2011, Hayley had transitioned to the Goods Inward division, earning a promotion to the position of Charge Hand. In this capacity, she provided indispensable support to Liza Kindon and the high-bay storage/goods inward team, overseeing stock transfers, rotation, and inventory management. During this time, she also obtained her Forklift operating license.
In 2017, Hayley embarked on a new role as Warehouse Administrator, under the guidance of Frances Holden. Her responsibilities spanned various aspects, including transport logistics, portal management, and documentation. Notably, she achieved the IOSH for Health and Safety certification.
2023 has marked another pivotal juncture in Hayley's career journey. Having recently transitioned to the role of Consumer Care Specialist within the consumer care team, Hayley has assumed a front-line role. She offers assistance to consumers who connect with Colart through our brand websites and social media channels. Her expertise and dedication continue to enhance the customer experience.
