Full Year Performance Review Window Opens 1st November
As we approach the beginning of November, it marks the commencement of our annual online Performance & Development Review period.
We've been actively listening to the feedback received during the Empowering People for People Managers workshops, and we're excited to announce updates to the four key questions to enhance the value of our discussions. The four key questions now will be:
Employee
1. What progress have I made to meet the expectations of my role?
2. What would I do differently to improve upon this progress?
3. What next steps will I take to make this improvement?
4. Plus for Level 2 and above self review: What specific steps can I take to enhance my leadership skills and better support my team's growth and productivity?
Line Manager
1. In the last year, what progress have they made to deliver on their role expectations?
2. What could they do to improve upon this progress?
3. What next steps should they take to make this improvement?
4. Plus for Level 2 and above line manager review: What support will be given to help them deliver upon this improvement?
To assist you during this process, we will be offering local drop-in sessions to address any questions you may have. Look out for detailed information from your local HR team regarding these sessions in the new year.
In the interim, we encourage you to start considering the following and engage in discussions with your line manager:
- Selecting Your 360 Reviewers: Identify the individuals who should participate as your 360 reviewers.
- Scheduling Your One-to-One Meeting: Decide on a suitable date to book your one-to-one meeting with your manager.
- For more resources to support your review: go to the intrant>My People Cycle>Growth & Development>Progress Reviews & Development Discussions or click on the link here.
It's worth noting that while the mid-year review window has recently closed, the 4-month Performance & Development Review period runs from November 1st to the end of February. Given that time tends to pass quickly, we strongly recommend that line managers initiate the review planning process promptly.
For any inquiries or assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to your local HR team.
