Collective Agility Theme for February Focuses on Decision Making
As part of our Perform 2030 strategy, Colart has been centering its efforts on one of five strategic pillars each month. With January spotlighting Brand Power, February saw a deep dive into Collective Agility.
February started with Tech Week, a new initiative planned by Sanjay and attended by the entire technology team. This event featured a robust lineup of workshops spanning a period of three days, focusing on emergent topics like AI and Shopify - our new platform for eCommerce capabilities. A sneak peek into the new Liquitex site, slated to go live next month, was a particularly stimulating highlight, generating excitement among the Colart community.
The conclusion of Tech Week led us to a captivating Takeover town hall on AI with Toby.

This month's town hall further delved into Collective Agility with a special focus on decision-making. Guest speaker, Jane, engaged in a discussion with Romain, underscoring the essence of decision-making as a cornerstone of human activity and corporate dynamism. Romain emphasised the importance of proactive decision-making at every level of our organisation, encouraging everyone at Colart to act decisively and with conviction.
With enlightening poll questions (see above) aimed at understanding our collective stance on decision-making and its enablers, the session offered insights into the behaviours and mindsets critical to fostering a productive decision-making culture. Romain and Jane tackled topics from the importance of swift action to overcoming the pitfalls of perfectionism and consensus-seeking.
In a move to solidify our approach to decision-making, a model was introduced - not as a rigid process but as a vital call to action integral to enhancing our Collective Agility (see left).
