Winsor & Newton Professional Water Colour Revival colours

To retain our leadership in watercolour and to increase sales by driving the desire to try new products, we have added new colours to the Winsor & Newton professional watercolour range.

A range of 8 historical colours widely used in the past by the great artists are now back with the same vibrancy and improved formulations making them safer to use for the artist, the environment and with more permanence in time. The Revival Collection includes a mix of vibrant secondary colours and subtle granulating greys, available in individual formats and curated sets, perfect for gifting.

Recognising the historical relevance behind this launch, beautiful colour stories support our communications, such as how Tyrian Purple was previously obtained from a secretion of a sea snail (Murex brandaris) common in the Mediterranean and never before produced synthetically on a commercial basis with a lightfast quality.

The timing of this global campaign is set for Q2 next year, with the sell in to our customers happening now, and the new collection is already displayed and available in our new website.

We are also looking forward to seeing local activation in support of the launch with a great example being a full interview in the Juxtapoz magazine successfully obtained by the North American team.  This interview will be issued this month and you can read it here.
