Enhancing our Performance & Development discussions
As we approach November, we are set to begin our annual online Performance & Development Review process.
Last year, we refined the key questions to enrich the value of our discussions. This year, to better understand your aspirations for growth and development in your career with Colart we’ve added two new questions. :
- What are my career aspirations?
- What steps can I take to meet these aspirations?
The discussion resulting from these questions add value to the development discussion, ensuring we nurture internal talent and create transparency in what can be realistically built into planning for future Colart needs
Also, back by popular demand is provision of a 'Continuous Feedback' text box (shown below), enabling Senior Managers (N+2) to provide comments on the review
To assist you during this process, we will be offering local drop-in sessions to address any questions you may have. Look out for detailed information from your local HR team regarding these sessions in the new year.
In the interim, we encourage you to prepare the following:
- Select Your 360 Reviewers: engage with your line manager and agree the individuals who should participate as your 360 reviewers.
- Schedule Your One-to-One Meeting: Decide on a suitable date to book your one-to-one meeting with your manager.
It's worth noting that while the mid-year review window has recently closed, the 4-month Performance & Development Review period runs from November 1st to the end of February. Given that time tends to pass quickly, we strongly recommend that everyone plays their part in initiating the review planning process promptly.
