Celebrating Fran Holden’s 40th anniversary with Colart
Celebrating 40 Years of Service: Frances Holden, we salute you!
This month, we proudly celebrate Frances Holden and her remarkable 40 years of service. Since joining the company in November 1984 as a production operator at Oasis, Frances has been a cornerstone of our team, embodying leadership, dedication, and resilience through every role she has taken on.
In 1986, Frances became the first woman at Oasis to operate a forklift, breaking new ground and setting a precedent for others. After Colart acquired Oasis, Frances stepped into leadership roles, guiding the Despatch & Transport section with skill and dedication. She quickly mastered the complexities of shipping, learning all about exporting and documentation while building key procedures. Her expertise was instrumental during the warehouse extension at our Kidderminster site, where she played a vital role in stock organisation.
Frances's commitment continued to shine as she took on the role of Lead Supervisor in 2008. Later, she advanced to Warehouse Manager, where her leadership was pivotal. She contributed to developing systems and procedures that helped streamline operations, most notably during the installation of M3 as a member of the UK Project One Team in 2015.
Frances, your journey over the last 40 years has been remarkable. We thank you for your contributions and look forward to many more milestones.

I’m lucky enough to have worked with you for a little over half of this time. We have an amazing warehouse team in Kiddy which is largely due to your dedication of leading by example, following Colart values, improving efficiencies while continuing to maintain a safe, happy & friendly working environment. 40 years, facing numerous challenges and progressing through the ranks to Warehouse Manager, is outstanding.
