You think about it for a minute and don’t want to delay the shipment and think, it won’t be a problem, they never look for those Documents or Certificates and release the shipment anyway.
You look for the Documents and Certificates and only find part of the packet and release the shipment anyway.
You immediately contact your Supervisor or Line Manager and advise them of the situation so that the right action can be taken to protect the company’s interests.

A team member noticing two children who clearly look younger than 16 years of age, working with a delivery driver to unload boxes from a van that has arrived on site. The driver is shouting at them to “hurry up with the unloading” because they need to leave. If you were that team member, what should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You openly applaud the driver on managing to find such youthful helpers.
You immediately contact your Supervisor or Line Manager and advise them of the situation so that the right action can be taken to both protect the immediate interests of the children and ensure safeguards within our supply chain are put in place.
You don’t say anything and walk by pretending not to notice.

A quarterly report to a Government Authority based upon data collected by the Finance Team. The Financial Team Member is missing data and instead estimates the numbers needed to complete the report not just once but does this regularly. If you were that team member, what should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You should continue doing as you have always done, and keep estimating the data even if you know it’s wrong, it’s only a Government Reports and who will notice.
You stop and try to get the missing data; however, you will miss the reporting deadline and you don’t want to disappoint your Boss, so you proceed anyway.
You stop and advise your Supervisor or Line Manager of the situation and ask for their guidance on the next steps.

You are attending a Sales Meeting and the Sales Director of one of our competitors approach you to catch up on how things are going. The conversation starts quite innocently, then the Sales Directors starts asking very detailed questions and you start to feel uncomfortable and change the subject. The Sales Director persists and suggests that you both could work closer together to solve some of the customer issues affecting the market. If you were that team member, what should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You politely change the conversation and advise the Sales Director that you need to make a telephone call. Then you call your Supervisor or Line Manager and advise them of what just happened, so you can get guidance for your next steps
You agree that both of your companies could benefit, so you agree to align the price of one common SKU
You continue the conversation to hear the Sales Director out and think: “I’m only listening and what’s wrong with that?”

An example might be you are by a friend to facilitate the change of supplier to a company that employs your friend. In doing so, your friend said that it would ensure he kept his job. If you were that team member, what should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You promise to make the change as you would hate to see your friend out of a job
You promise to make the change and ask “what’s in it for me?”
You tell you friend that his company has the right to send in a tender for the business at the next review point but that the decision could only be made based on proper assessment. You advise your Supervisor or Line Manager about the conversation.

You are invited to a major sporting event by a supplier, which is all expenses paid and access to a hospitality tent at the event. It’s an important supplier and you would not want to hurt the excellent business relationship Colart has, as well as you personally don’t want to offend the supplier by declining their invitation to the major sporting event. You think that it’s a major sporting event that you have dreamed of attending and it’s a once in a lifetime chance for great seats to the event and the VIP Hospitality Tent, they are even offering you free airfare, rental car and hotel accommodation. If you were that team member, what should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You accept the invitation and say nothing to your Supervisor or Line Manager as you leave for your weekend trip
You advise you Supervisor or Line Manager of the invitation and then they can escalate the situation to the appropriate Governance/Compliance Team Members for the next steps
You advise your Supervisor or Line Manager that a supplier has a small event at their site and just want me to stop by and say hello out of courtesy.

An example might be a supplier who delivers regularly to the warehouse and has to wait to have their truck offloaded. The driver might approach a warehouse team member and attempt to offer a small cash payment or offer to buy the person a lunch if they can get special treatment, or have their truck moved up in line to be offloaded first. What should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You think about it for a minute and accept the cash or the lunch the driver is offering, it’s only a token amount, no one would notice.
You say to the driver I’ll meet you after work and we can go out for a beer. However, you are expecting the driver will buy a few rounds and maybe dinner.
You politely decline the offer, explaining its against company policy and immediately notify your supervisor and Line Manager, so they can guide you with the next steps.

A competitor approaches a Colart Team Member in a social setting and to ask if they would be willing to share customer data. What should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You advise the competitor that it's against company policy to share such data and politely decline their request and advise your Supervisor or Line Manager immediately about the encounter.
You print the files and bring them to the offsite location you and our competitor arranged, then show the person the data but don’t give them a physical copy, you think that should be ok… right?
You think, “what’s wrong with being friendly with the competition and who would find out?”, so you share the data and don’t think any more about it.

An example might be how and where you store your login credentials to the various Colart Systems. You don’t always remember your password, so you decide to tape the login information to the bottom of the keyboard you frequently use at your workstation. What should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You leave the taped note to the bottom of your keyboard, it’s not that critical and what could anyone else do with your login credentials anyway, it’s not a big deal… right?
You keep moving your login credentials to various hidden places around your workstation, since you want to follow the rules but still make it easy to access the information.
You contact your Supervisor or Line Manager, so you can work with IT to see if there have been any data breaches and you reset all your credentials saving them where they cannot be accessed by others.

It’s Monday morning and you had a very stressful weekend with a family issue, you arrive at the worksite highly stressed and upset. Soon after starting work, a colleague approaches you and asks for help. You spontaneously shout at them and walk away grumbling. What should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You continue your day annoyed about how inconsiderate that colleague was by not seeing you were upset.
You approach your Supervisor or Line Manager and explain your situation and how you are feeling, asking for guidance on to whom you should speak to seek help for the personal challenge you are facing.
You shout at more Team Members around so they can feel as bad as you.

You are approached by a supplier who is willing to give Colart a really great deal on some supplies that they just got in, you ask why the price is so low and they might say “it fell off a truck”. What should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You think “wow it will save us some budget and what is the harm?”
You tell the supplier ok, but you still need an invoice, so it looks proper on Colart’s end.
You decline the offer and advise your supervisor or Line Manager immediately.

You are required to visit a customer for a formally arranged meeting and on the morning of the meeting the customer calls to say you can attend via a Teams link. You had planned to drive to the meeting and instead attend the meeting via Team. A week later you start to complete your expenses. What should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You include the cost of the mileage you would have travelled for the customer meeting and think, “what is the harm, we had a constructive meeting, and no one knows I attended via Teams?”
You don’t include the cost of the mileage, but you add a receipt for the lunch you had at a café close to your home because you would have expensed lunch anyway had you been at the customers site.
You complete your expenses form properly and accurately based on your true costs – this did not include mileage or lunch on the day of the meeting.

You notice that the quality and durability of the cartons that our key supplier is delivering to our site is not holding up. The carton material seems weaker, and the cartons are getting damaged faster when our product is loaded and sealed. This could lead to our product getting damaged in transit to our Customers. What should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You ignore it and say to yourself its someone else’s problem, so what if the product arrives damaged. Colart is a big company, they can deal with it…
You use some extra tape and extra packing material to protect our product, so the carton doesn’t fall apart en route to the customer. It takes longer and uses an excessive amount of tape, but you don’t say anything to anyone because you are protecting the product after all.
You contact your Supervisor or Line Manager immediately about your concerns explaining how it is detrimental to efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You observe a Team Member using and disposing of an excessive amount of shrink wrap plastic on the line. What should you do in this situation – What do you think is the right answer?

You watch in amazement how the team member is managing to get through so much plastic.
You joke with the team member about whether they are trying to win the world record for shrink wrap, laugh and walk on.
You ask the team member whether they need help because of a problem with the shrink wrap process and whether you can engage the support or attention of a Supervisor or Line Manager.
