Group Merchandising: 2024 Highlights

The Group Merchandising Team has much to celebrate from 2024!

They worked tirelessly to bring some of the new product development projects in store to life, with innovative solutions and installations that showcased our spectacular brands in the best possible light. Collaborating with the Brand Teams and Shopper Communications, the team created inspiring point of sale displays that captured attention and delighted customers.

Maximising Impact with Innovative Point of Sale

Last year, the team didn’t just focus on launching new displays solutions – they took a more sustainable and resourceful approach. By “upcycling” previous POS displays, they were able to save both time and money, while still creating visually appealing displays for our latest product launches. This creative approach not only benefited our budget but also contributed to our broader sustainability goals.

In addition to fresh new POS, the team worked on improving existing displays, ensuring they performed even better in-store. They listened closely to feedback from our field teams, addressing concerns and making enhancements that streamlined the installation process. This ongoing dialogue has been invaluable in creating seamless, efficient setups that work harder for our brands and retailers.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we look to the year ahead, the Group Merchandising Team plans to introduce new materials to further reduce plastics in our business. They're also focusing on optimising POS volumes at Distribution Centres, ensuring we're working more efficiently and sustainably. And of course, there are plenty of exciting new projects lined up for the year ahead, so stay tuned!
