CTAM Upholds DEI Commitment, Empowering Star Youth to Shine
On March 3, 2025, Tianjin – When art meets charity, paintbrushes become bridges connecting hearts. The "Starry Dreams" charity art exhibition, jointly initiated by Colart Tianjin and Star Dreamers Public Service Center -Autism Youth Career Training Base, opened at office area of Tianjin plant on March 3, interpreting corporate social responsibility through vibrant colors that embody inclusiveness and hope. This special artistic feast, which will continue until June 30, 2025, not only showcases the unique creativity of autistic youth but also marks a solid step forward for CTAM on the path of integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) with corporate social impact.
From Art Materials to Art Exhibitions: The Tangible Practice of DEI Principles
All 10-plus pieces exhibited were created using acrylics, watercolors, markers, and art paper donated by the company, attesting to Colart's mission to "inspire every artist in the world." On March 11, Colart group CEO Romain and COO Bruno personally visited the art exhibition site and took the lead in participating in "purchase as donation" activities. By now, we totally raised more than 3,000 RMB in donations. These funds will be a specifically encouragement for autistic youth. Colart has enabled special groups to break through communication barriers and engage in dialogue with society through visual language, which is a vivid embodiment of DEI core values.
This immersive experience allows us to close the loop between art creation and industrial dedication. By showing Star Youth how their tools are responsibly made, and by using their art to energize our workplace, we're building a truly reciprocal DEI ecosystem.
Using Art as a Medium to Create a Mutually Healing Ecosystem
Starting in 2024, CTAM employees have regularly visited and provide volunteer services to the Autism Youth Career Training Base. From donating professional art materials, Art Nature course to jointly establishing the "Star Youth Art Studio," from collaborating on craft making with autistic youth to co-curating art exhibitions, the company has gradually built an empowerment system for Star Youth.
Star Youth Artists Visiting CTAM: Bridging Creation with Inspiration
The DEI journey reached new heights on May 27 when Star Youth artists and their mentors visited CTAM. The delegation gained firsthand insights into Colart's craftsmanship through guided tours of production, R&D laboratories, and quality control centers - processes that transform raw materials into the very supplies empowering their artistic expressions.
An emotional highlight emerged when artists discovered their own creations displayed in open office areas, where employees daily draw inspiration from these vibrant works. The visit culminated in a meaningful material-donation ceremony, with CTAM leadership presenting art products to support each artist's unique creative journey.
This is really wonderful to see! Well done team, such an important and fantastic initiative you’re supporting.
