Recent events in the news have shown how weak passwords and simple mistakes can cause catastrophic damage — even leading to the closure of a 158-year-old company. These types of cyberattacks are becoming more targeted, more sophisticated, and more frequent.

At Colart, we're taking clear steps to protect ourselves — but security is a shared responsibility.

🛡️ Here’s what you can do to help:

• Never reuse passwords. Use different passwords for work and personal accounts.
• Enable MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) wherever possible.
• Be cautious with emails. If it looks suspicious, don’t click — report it to IT by using the Phishing button on Outlook.

• Lock your screen when you walk away from your device. (Policy to change to auto lock screen coming soon)
• Avoid using public Wi-Fi without a secure VPN connection.
• Don’t download unknown files or apps on work devices.
