At Colart we really believe in the importance of helping people develop themselves personally and professionally. The foundation for this development lies in the Colart Academy, which is built upon four pillars:

The courses we provide are all online which means you can learn what you like, when you like. Therefore, we encourage everyone to establish habits that foster ongoing self-learning practises.

Progress Reviews & Development Discussions
Our mid-year and annual Performance & Development Review windows open respectively on 1st July & 1st November.

Agile Career Path Development
Our structure is flat and non-hierarchical and because we embrace change, this means we don’t offer a one size fits all career path. Instead, we encourage lateral movements to help you follow your ambitions, hone a skill set and achieve future goals. We are focusing on developing an agile career path development programme and look to integrate this into our ways of working in the future.
Agile career path planning cultivates readiness for future career opportunities. It is grounded in self-awareness and understanding, empowering you to take ownership of your career progression at Colart. By going through this process, both your line manager and the broader internal network become aware of the path you aspire to pursue. Demonstrating consistent delivery of output and value, as well as exceeding goals and objectives, significantly increases the availability of new opportunities. Therefore, we prioritise self-reflection, understanding, and growth through continuous reflections as key steps in the process.
Utilise ongoing conversations with your line manager through scheduled one-to-one sessions, performance and development reviews to discover your agile career path development opportunities.
