The following outlines the steps from initiating a Project (project host) to securing someone to complete a project (project applicant).
Call-to-action requests are triggered for each step of the process via automated workflow.
- Project Host completes and submits Lateral Growth form
- Comms Team advertises Project on Lateral Growth page and internal communication platforms
- Applicants apply for Project using online workflow
- Applicants' Line Manager reviews availability of applicant
- Available applicants are reviewed and assessed by Project Host
- Project Host allocates project to successful applicant
In-person feedback will be provided to all unsuccessful applicants and will include development guidance and recommendations.

Project name: Brand Preference Study

Project description: The Group Marketing Team are seeking some additional support from September to the end of the year to help with our Brand Preference Study for W&N, Liquitex and LB . You would be helping plan, set up and coordinate this study to help us understand a post covid world as well as the affect shifting geo-political and economic norms are having upon art materials consumers.
Example of the kind of things you would be doing:
- Helping with the day to day management of the agency and answering queries.
- Internal stakeholder management with Brand Directors, Commercial Directors and the Chief Commercial Officer.
- Helping to organise the de-briefs which will be conducted by the agency.
- Helping address follow up queries with the agency.
What we're looking for:
- Someone who has an interest in how consumers think and is naturally curious.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Self starter.
- Collaborative mind set.

Estimation of total time needed (in hours): 3-7.5 hours per week on average 1st Sept - Christmas though some weeks will be busier than others
Skill likely to be developed: Agency management. Market Research and Insight understanding. Stakeholder Managment and senior management visibility (study is presented to GLT and Board).
Skill needed for this project: Mindset and core organisational capabilities are far more important that any previous experience
