Announcing the Resignation of Toby Russell

April 17, 2024 | |

I am writing to inform you that after seven years with Colart, Toby Russell has decided to resign from his position as Chief Digital, Development, and Disruption Officer and will leave Colart on Friday 20th September.

Starting as Solutions Architect for Elephant before moving on to the Group Leadership Team, Toby has been an invaluable member of the company having contributed significantly to many initiatives of transformation across Colart. His dedication, expertise, and leadership have been instrumental in navigating the challenges and opportunities we have encountered.

While we are saddened by Toby’s decision to leave, we understand and respect his wish to pursue new opportunities for personal and professional growth. Toby’s passion for being directly involved in driving innovation and change is evident to all, and we wish him all the best as he develops a business that brings him closer to this love.

Toby has effectively shaped his role as Chief Digital, Development, and Disruption Officer to encompass a wide range of responsibilities. Throughout his tenure, Toby has played a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of the team under his guidance, enabling them to effectively lead their respective domains. In light of the specificity of his role to his skill set, we have decided not to directly replace him. Instead, we will take this opportunity to assess and reflect on whether there are any gaps within our evolving Global Leadership Team (GLT).

As of September, Sanjay will report to Jonathan Spight, our CFO, while Jasper will report to Gail Pasquier, our CCO. Given the strengths of both Sanjay and Jasper, we do not anticipate any significant risks during this transition period, and Toby has assured us of his full support in facilitating this change. We are delighted to announce that Toby has also agreed to provide mentorship to key individuals moving forward.

We are grateful for Toby's contributions to Colart, and please join me in extending our thanks and best wishes to him as he moves on to the next chapter of his career and future business endeavours.
