Colart is proud to honor a remarkable milestone in the career of one of our team members, Martin, as he reaches an incredible 35 years of service with the company. This achievement is a testament to Martin’s unwavering commitment, adaptability, and the positive impact he has made throughout his tenure.
Martin embarked on his journey with what was then Reckitt & Colman in June 1988 as part of the Fine Art & Graphics Division. Starting off as a VDU Operator based at the former Harrow & Wealdstone site, Martin quickly became known for his exceptional work ethic and friendly demeanor. His colleagues remember him as the warm and welcoming face, often the first point of contact for newcomers to the company.
Throughout his time at Colart UK, Martin has embraced numerous organisational changes with grace and flexibility. He has played a vital role in integrating new team members into the business, making their transition smoother and more comfortable. Martin’s genuine kindness, consideration, and diligence have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, making him a cherished teammate.
In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Martin was promoted to the position of UK Trade Marketing Manager in 2017. Always eager to grow and develop professionally, he recently expressed an interest in supporting one of our growing customers, Amazon. Martin’s enthusiasm led him to acquire new skills, which he wholeheartedly embraced, showcasing his dedication to continuous improvement.
Family means the world to Martin, and as a dedicated father to two young boys, his passion for our Snazaroo face and body paint knows no bounds. That’s why it’s no surprise that he has become our UK brand champion, leading the charge in making our brand the top contender in the market. But Martin’s responsibilities don’t end there. He’s also the driving force behind meticulously planning and implementing our merchandising solutions, ensuring that our in-store experiences continue to captivate customers and leave a lasting impression.
As we celebrate Martin’s 35-year journey, we find ourselves missing his presence within the company. His immediate team especially feels his absence and recognizes the invaluable contributions he brings to Colart UK. During this time, we not only want to celebrate Martin’s achievements but also extend our warmest wishes for his swift recovery. We eagerly await his return, knowing that his spirit and generosity will continue to uplift us all.
We look forward to welcoming you back with open arms, ready to share in the same generosity of spirit that you have bestowed upon us throughout the years.
Congratulations on your remarkable achievement, and here’s to many more years of success and fulfillment as part of our exceptional team!
