Celebrating the Career and Retirement of Fabienne Poisson
Fabienne’s journey with us began on April 5, 1982, when she joined as a table operator handling sets and boxes. Her career trajectory is a testament to her dedication and skill. In 1984, she advanced to a production agent role in the Chassis workshop, working on chassis and easels. By 1987, Fabienne had transitioned to order preparation in the finished products warehouse.
Fabienne’s expertise further expanded when she took on the responsibility of watercolor production on three-cylinder machines in the grinding department. From 1988 to 1997, she showcased her versatility by working in filling on various posts, including the small ILIG, blisters, and the BVM.
Between 1997 and 2013, Fabienne played a pivotal role in packaging on several lines, including plastic and aluminum tubes and the ROBO for varnish. Notably, she contributed to the start-up of critical lines such as the BVM, the L74 plastic, and the Mustang L85, collaborating with our English colleagues during the Wealdstone activity transfer. She became a trailblazer as the first woman in production to volunteer for night shifts, a role she maintained for 10 years.
In 2013, Fabienne volunteered to assist in Ashford, preparing for the transfer of Letraset marker production, where she worked until the machines were moved to China. Since 2016, Fabienne has held the title of Packaging Operator, excelling on the L73 line, responsible for the precise packaging of 5ml watercolor tubes—a task that demands specialized skills.
Fabienne was also a committed First Aid Responder until 2017. Her illustrious career has been marked by dedication, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
As Fabienne embarks on her well-deserved retirement, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish her all the best in fulfilling her long-held dreams of travel.
