“Celebration of Watercolour”: UK Marketing’s Spectacular Watercolour Showcase at Mall Galleries
On April 4th, the UK Marketing team organized a much-anticipated Winsor & Newton 'Celebration of Watercolour' event at the esteemed London Mall Galleries. The event spanned throughout the day, with day-time activities open to the public followed by an exclusive evening activity available through paid entry . The event aimed to provide art enthusiasts and watercolour aficionados with a unique and immersive experience, delving into the rich history and science behind Winsor & Newton watercolours.
Visitors were treated to a wide range of Winsor & Newton focused activities during the day-time session, including interactive watercolour making displays, demonstrations by renowned artists such as Roger Dellar, Matthew Phinn and Brian Smith, and opportunities to try out Winsor & Newton watercolours firsthand. From learning about the intricate pigments and techniques used in watercolour production to discovering the fascinating Winsor & Newton historic archive, attendees were able to deepen their understanding and appreciation for this timeless medium.
As the evening approached, the event transformed into an exclusive paid-entry activity, offering a more intimate and specialised experience.
