Colart News Announcement – Reporting lines for business enabling functions
Following our recent announcement about the changes to our Group Leadership Team, we have continued to review the organisation structure to ensure we are agile, collaborative, and business-focused in how we work.
To date, we have operated with functional reporting lines across key business functions. While this has provided strong governance and control, we believe now is the right time to adapt our model for our Business Enabling functions—Finance, HR, and IT—to better support our commercial priorities and local teams.
What’s Changing—Effective 1 October:
- Finance: To strengthen commercial focus and accelerate decision-making, the following local Finance leaders will move to direct reporting lines with their respective regional or site leaders
➡️ North America: Mark Triano will report directly to Steve Chamberlain, EVP & GM
➡️ Europe: Patricia Le Mauff will report directly to Jake Kersey, General Manager
➡️ UK: James Whelan will report directly to Anthony Taylor, General Manager
➡️ International: James Drummond will report directly to Jack Rees, Commercial Director
➡️ Le Mans/Colart Europe: Marie Morice will report directly to Loic Chaumont, Site Director
It is important to note that local Finance leaders will continue to have a close working relationship with the CFO to align on finance strategy and governance.
- HR: Given the scope of their coverage across multiple markets, the local HR leaders for the UK, Europe and China will continue to report to the Chief People Officer (CPO) working closely with their relevant Business Unit leadership teams. For North America, the HR Business Partner, Torkel Tellefsen will now report directly to Steve Chamberlain supporting even greater alignment between HR and the NA business. As always, the HR leaders will maintain a strong connection with the CPO to ensure consistency in global HR strategy and practices
- IT: A local reporting structure for the IT team in China into finance is already in place, reflecting the specific needs of that market. Similarly in NA, the local IT function will report into the NA Finance leader.
These adjustments are designed to:
➡️ Strengthen local accountability, agility, and performance
➡️ Bring local Finance, HR, and IT leaders closer to the business
➡️ Drive faster, more consumer-focused decision-making
➡️ Maintain our high standards of governance and financial discipline.
From 1 October, Business Unit Leaders will work with their local Finance, HR, and IT leads to agree ways of working and meeting rhythms to ensure a smooth transition.
While functional reporting will still exist across some of our operational functions such as Supply Chain, we will review these structures over time as strong local governance is established.
Thank you for your continued focus and collaboration as we move forward together to achieve our “Perform 2030” goals.
