Farewell Announcement for Jane Beeston
Dear Team,
Today, I want to inform you of an important transition within our leadership team.
After 30 incredible years, Jane Beeston has made the personal decision to retire from her role as Chief People Officer or as Jane says “rewire” what she wants to do. It has been a true honour to work alongside her, and her contributions to our organisation will be felt for many years to come.
In Jane's own words, this journey has been filled with growth, collaboration, and friendships that she will cherish forever. Her commitment to our people and the positive impact we continue to make together will always be remembered.
Leading numerous initiatives, Jane has played an instrumental role in shaping the company that we have today along with Colart’s culture and values so fostering both our inclusive work environment and employee experience. As Jane expressed, she is deeply proud of what has been accomplished adding it has been a privilege to be part of this evolving story.
I am also thrilled to announce that Jane and I have sourced a great replacement, Helen Losq, to step into the role of Chief People Officer. Helen brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective that will further enhance our people and performance culture. I am confident that under her leadership, we will continue to build upon the strong foundation that Jane has established. We will communicate separately about Helen who is due to start on 24 November.
In closing, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Jane for her decades of service, to welcome Helen warmly and relay this message from Jane:
“Thank you to you all for being an integral part of my Colart journey and for the memories we’ve created together. I know Colart will continue to thrive and evolve and I wish everyone continued success.”
Let’s all join together in support of both our outgoing and incoming leaders during this transition.
Best regards,
Romain Guinier
CEO

An exciting next chapter for you Jane…..and knowing you the grass will not grow under your feet for too long! Thank you for all your help and advice over the years, and you can retire from Colart knowing you have played a significant role in shaping our culture, values and business – and that you will be leaving something better than you found it.
Can’t believe your leaving-who’s going to share a birthday with me now?!
This is huge news! My very best wishes for whatever comes next – I’m always happy to advise if you ever decide to ferment those grapes. Though I have a feeling you’ll soon find something a bit more focused than my chaotic wine making!
Pressed too soon – Wishing you every success in your next adventure – you’ve earned it!
What a roller coaster 25 years working with you! You can finally put your feet up….likely temporarily knowing you. All my best wishes for your retirement and exciting new chapter in your life – you deserve it.
WOW! I’ve only been at Colart a mere eight and a half years, but can’t imagine it without your drive, enthusiasm and sheer determination to make a difference.
Its been an absolute pleasure to know you during that time and to talk about holidays and where we are going.
I guess with all the free time you will have the world is your oyster now and you can go and come as you please and experience all the things that you never had the time to.
If you ever decide to go to Mauritius again – I will “hook you up” as they! All the best Jane.
Your genuine passion and enthusiasm for art and artists will be so missed. Your contribution to the differentiation in artist engagement to maintain contexts and credibility invaluable. I know and hope to see you still, at the opens and exhibitions and that now you will have the time to continue support art and artists in with your experience and guidance.
I can’t imagine Colart without you Jane! Thank you for all of your help, support and guidance. Wishing you all the very best with whatever the future may hold.
